ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸೌತ್ ಝೋನ್ 15ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಘನತೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಗಣ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸೌತ್ ಝೋನ್ ತನ್ನ 15ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಅಪಾರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ, ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಬಲೀಕರಣದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ದೀರ್ಘ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಒಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿತು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಶ್ಮಿ ಮಿಶ್ರಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೊ. ಅಶೋಕ್ ಮಿಶ್ರಾ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾದ 15 ವರ್ಷದ ಅನನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಿನ್ನೋಟ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಕ್ಕರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು.

ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಜೀವ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಗುಪ್ತ, ಡಾ. ನಯನ್ ದಭೋಲ್ಕರ್ (ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ – ಮುಂಬೈ), ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಿಓಒ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೇಖಾ ಶ್ರೀವಾಸನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಝೋನಲ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಡಾ. ದೀಪಾ ಶ್ರೀವಾಸ್ತವ ರವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಬದ್ಧ ದೀಪಪ್ರಜ್ವಲನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಆರಂಭದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾದ ಈ ವಿಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು.

ಈ ಘನ ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮುದ್ದಾದ ಕಂಗೊಳನ್ನು ತಂದವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾದ ಪುಟ್ಟ ತಾರೆಗಳು — ಹಿಮಾನಿ ಠಾಪಾ, ತರುಣ್ ದಾಸ್, ಧನುಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಬಕ್ಕಯ್ಯ, ಏಂಜಲ್ ಸಾರಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶುಶಾಂಕ್. ಗಣ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿದ ಈ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಜೀವಂತ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳಾಗಿ ತೋಳೊದಿದರು.

ಸಂಜೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬದುಕು ಬದಲಿಸಿದ ಅನುಭವ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಕಥನಗಳು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಶೋಭೆಗೈದವು. ಪೋಷಕರು, ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರ ತೀವ್ರ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಇದರ ಮೂಲಕ, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ತನ್ನ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಪುನಃ ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿತು.

Karthika Deepotsava Celebrated with Annasantarpane & Bharatanatyam at Sri Raghavendraswamy Mutt

Bengaluru: The Nanjanagoodu Sri Raghavendraswamy Mutt at Jayanagar 5th Block witnessed a grand celebration of Karthika Deepotsava on the auspicious Amavasya, held with the blessings of Paramapujya Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji. The event was organised under the guidance of the Math’s senior administrator, R.K. Vadheendra Acharya.

Devotees lit ceremonial lamps praying for Loka Kalyana (universal welfare), marking the beginning of the special festivities. As part of the Deepotsava, a graceful Bharatanatyam performance added a cultural touch to the evening. Sharing details of the celebrations, Sri Nandakishore Acharya said that the Brindavana of Guru Raghavendra was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers for the occasion.

Thousands of devotees visited the Mutt to seek the blessings of Guru Raghavendra, receiving Teertha, Mantrakshate, and the sacred Annasantarpane prasada.
A Bharatanatyam programme by students of Mahanata Nritya Mandira, choreographed by Smt. Indira Vijay, captivated the gathering and enriched the devotional ambience.

The Deepotsava, blending devotion, tradition, and classical arts, concluded with devotees expressing gratitude for the divine grace of Sri Hari, Vayu, and Guru Raghavendra.

15 Years, 5 Lakh Lives: VIDYA South Zone Celebrates a Milestone of Impact

Bengaluru: VIDYA (Vidya Integrated Development for Youth and Adults), one of India’s longstanding NGOs known for its work in education and empowerment, announced the South Zone’s 15-year milestone at a press meet held at the Press Club of Bangalore. Over the past four decades, VIDYA has directly impacted more than 8 lakh individuals and reached 24 lakh others through 300-plus projects focused on education, digital literacy, vocational training, and women’s empowerment.

Founder Smt. Rashmi Misra, reflecting on VIDYA’s journey, said, “What began as a small learning initiative for five children at my IIT Delhi home has today become a nationwide movement. Every child, youth, and woman who found confidence and new possibilities through VIDYA has contributed to this story of change. The South Zone’s 15-year journey proves that empowering one life can uplift an entire community.”

VIDYA’s footprint now spans Delhi, Gurugram, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and other regions, supported by a strong network of schools, community centres, government partnerships, and skill programmes.

In the South Zone, VIDYA has grown from supporting 150 beneficiaries in 2010 to transforming more than 5 lakh lives through education, digital empowerment, and livelihood initiatives. The organisation currently runs three Centres of Excellence in Bengaluru and Chennai, 146 active projects, and 75+ institutional collaborations, powered by a dedicated team of 125 staff members—half of them VIDYA alumni.

The 15th Year Celebration will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Town Hall, JC Road, Bengaluru, with high tea at 4:00 pm, followed by the main event from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Senior leaders Rekha Srinivasan, Devika Mathur, Sunitha Menon, and Kavitha were present at the press meet.

Bengaluru: The 12th annual “Drivers’ Day” will be celebrated on November 9 at Shalini Grounds, Jayanagar 5th Block, marking the birth anniversary of late actor Shankar Nag. The event will be graced by Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer, Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji.

Raghu N. Narayan Gowda, President of the Peace Auto and Taxi Drivers Union, announced that actress Rachita Ram has been chosen as the “Auto Ambassador” for this year. Senior, women, and honest drivers will be honoured with gold medals.

Laksha Deepotsava Held at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matt for Universal Well-Being

Bengaluru:
A grand Laksha Deepotsava dedicated to the welfare of the world was celebrated with devotion and splendour at the Nanjanagoodu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matt in Jayanagar 5th Block. The event was organised under the divine guidance and blessings of His Holiness Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji, and led by the Matt’s senior administrator, Sri R.K. Vadheendra Acharya.

Marking the auspicious occasion of Karthika Purnima, the temple premises were beautifully decorated with flowers and illuminated by thousands of lamps, symbolising prayers for global peace and prosperity. According to priest Sri Nandakishore Acharya, devotees offered special prayers and lit lamps as part of their spiritual resolve, seeking the blessings of Sri Guru Raghavendra for the well-being of all.

Thousands of devotees and volunteers participated with deep reverence, receiving the holy prasada after the ritual.
The event also saw the presence of the Matt’s religious head Sri Krishna Gundacharya, the team of archakas, staff members, and several prominent devotees who collectively contributed to the success of the sacred celebration.
