NIU Students Set Record by Painting 108 Forms of Lord Shiva in 108 Minutes at Mahakumbh

Prayagraj, March 4, 2025: In a historic achievement, 73 students from the School of Fine Arts & Design at Noida International University (NIU) have set a new record in the India Book of Records by painting 108 forms of Lord Shiva in just 108 minutes. This remarkable feat took place during the Shiva Fest at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, a grand event that attracts millions of devotees and artists from across the country.

The achievement was officially recognized by the India Book of Records in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Lalit Kala Academy, marking a proud moment for NIU and the participants.

Speaking about the achievement, Dr. Nihar Das, Dean of the School of Fine Arts & Design, NIU, expressed his pride in the students, stating, “We congratulate all the students who showcased their talent and secured a place in the India Book of Records. We encourage our students to participate in national and international events to further develop and showcase their artistic skills.”

The event not only highlighted the students’ artistic excellence but also their deep cultural and spiritual connection. NIU continues to take pride in fostering young talent and providing students with platforms to contribute to nationally recognized artistic milestones.

The Mahakumbh, the world’s largest human congregation, continues to be a hub for spiritual and cultural celebrations, and this latest record adds another dimension to its rich history.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 3, 2025: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ 6 ರಿಂದ 7 ಗಂಟೆಯವರೆಗೆ “ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥ ಗುರು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆ” ಪ್ರವಚನ ಮಾಲೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಡಾ. ವೇಂಕಟನರಸಿಂಹಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಈ ಪ್ರವಚನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದು, ರಾಯರ ಭಕ್ತಿ, ತತ್ವ, ಆದರ್ಶ, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸಿ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Sri Raghavendra Swamy’s 404th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava Celebrated with Grandeur

Bengaluru: The 404th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava of Kaliyuga Kamadhenu Sri Raghavendra Swamy was celebrated with great devotion at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. As per the divine orders of Paramapoojya Sri 1008 Subudhendra Tirtha Swamiji, the grand event was organized under the leadership of senior mutt administrator Sri R.K. Vadeendra Acharya.

As part of the celebrations, Paramapoojya Sri 1008 Akshobhya Ramapriya Tirtha Swamiji, the junior Peethadhipati of Balagaru Mutt, performed the sacred Sahasra Kalasha Ksheerabhisheka (ritualistic milk anointment) to the Brindavana of Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy. Following this, the golden-plated Padukas of Guru Raghavendra were placed on a golden throne, and a grand Pushpavrishti (showering of flowers) was performed as part of the inauguration ceremony.

The event also witnessed special Utsava Homas and a Samsthana Pooja conducted by Paramapoojya Sri Swamiji, culminating in a Mahamangalarati to the sacred Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. In his divine discourse, he blessed the devotees who had gathered in large numbers to seek his Anugraha (blessings).

Thousands of devotees participated in the Pattabhisheka Mahotsava, receiving Teertha Prasada and Mantrakshata as blessings from the Guru. Eminent personalities, including Raja Sri Bandiya Acharya, R.K. Vadeendra Acharya, Sri Krishna Gundacharya, and several other dignitaries and devotees, took part in the grand celebrations.

The festival was a spiritually enriching experience for devotees, reaffirming their faith in Sri Hari, Vayu, and Guru’s divine grace.

வேலூர் மாவட்டம் கலாஸ்பாளையம் அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீ வீரபத்திரர் சுவாமி கோயிலில், சமீபத்தில் நடைபெற்ற மகா கும்பாபிஷேகத்தை தொடர்ந்து, மண்டலாபிஷேக நிறைவு விழா சிறப்பாக நடைபெற உள்ளது.

இந்த விழா 09 மார்ச் 2025 (ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை) காலை 9:00 மணி முதல் 10:30 மணிக்குள் நடைபெறும். இதில், ஸ்ரீ வீரபத்திரர், விநாயகர், முருகர், சோழவரத்து தஞ்சியம்மன், சப்தமாதாக்கள் மற்றும் நவகிரஹமூர்த்திகளுக்கு மண்டலாபிஷேக பூஜைகள் சிறப்பாக நடைபெறுகின்றன. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, ஸ்ரீ வீரபத்திரர் சுவாமி மேளதாளத்துடன் திருவீதியுலா நடைபெறுகிறது.
