A resident of Bengaluru had given complaint to BMTF Officials regarding unauthorised construction by the complainant. In this regard Accused Sri Shivakumar V was deputed for the enquiry. He summoned the complainant and demanded a bribe amount of Rs.70,000/- to close the petition received against him and collected Rs.20,000/- advance through his assistant Sri. Chetan.
On 07.11.2018 the officials of ACB Bengaluru City have trapped Sri.Shivakumar.V and Sri.Chethan while accepting the bribe amount of Rs.50,000/- from the complainant. Both have been arrested and the bribe amount has been seized. The case is under investigation.
