Bengaluru, May 5: In an announcement that blends literature with introspective philosophy, the Sri Sahasrara Yogishwara Swami Mahapeetam has invited members of the media to a forthcoming book launch that promises to engage contemporary minds grappling with stress, ambition, and the search for meaning.

The event will mark the release of “The Wanderer Who Owns the World,” authored by Sri Yogi and published by Penguin Random House India. Positioned as more than a conventional literary work, the book is described as a reflective exploration into the nature of success, identity, and detachment in an increasingly fast-paced world.
Announcing the event at a press meet held at the Press Club of Bangalore on Tuesday, representatives of the Mahapeetam emphasised the relevance of the book’s central message in today’s context. The work challenges prevailing notions of material success and ownership, offering instead a philosophical perspective rooted in inward awareness.
Quoting a key idea from the book, organisers highlighted, “One owns the world only when one ceases to cling to it,” underscoring its core theme of detachment as a pathway to true fulfilment.
The launch is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM onwards at Atta Galatta in Indiranagar. The gathering is expected to draw literary enthusiasts, spiritual seekers, and members of the intellectual community.
Members of the Mahapeetam, including Godha Shanmugam,Mohan Dattatreya Rao Darwadker, Soudhamisi, Kaushik, and Vikas Hegde, were present at the press briefing and reiterated their invitation to the media to cover what they described as a “significant confluence of literature and philosophy.”
The organisers noted that the book launch is not merely an introduction to a new publication, but an attempt to initiate a broader conversation on the deeper questions of life-amid the distractions and demands of modern living.
