A Contractor of Hatti Village of Koppal Taluk had sought for approval of action plan for works worth Rs.40,00,000/- (forty Lakhs) Of Kalakeri Gram Panchayath. 1)Sri. Shankar Malagi, AEE(I/c EE), & 2) Shilpa Mundalamani, J.E, Panchayath Raj Engineering Division, Koppal, had demanded bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- to do the same.
On 14/11/2018 Sri. Satish Kumar, Computer Operator, (Out Source Employee), O/o Executive Engineer, Panchayath Raj Engineering Division, Koppal, was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- from the compalainant. All the three A.G.O’s were arrested and taken into custody and the bribe amount is recovered. The investigation is in progress.
