A resident of Bengaluru had sought for building plan approval from ADTP office, Mahadevapura Zone, BBMP, Town planning division. Sri.Rangaswamy, ADTP and Sri.Srinivasa Gowda, Asst.Engineer had demanded a bribe amount of Rs.5,00,000/- to do the same.
On 20.11.2018 the officials of ACB Bengaluru City have trapped and arrested Sri.Rangaswamy, ADTP and Sri.Srinivasa Gowda, AE, while accepting the bribe amount of Rs.5,00,000/- from the complainant. The bribe amount has been seized. The case is under investigation.
Also seized amount found with the accused.
1- Rangaswamy- Rs35200/-
2- Srinivas Gowda- Rs251000/- plus USD 6000.
