A resident of Tenginagundi village of Bhatkal Taluk in U.K. District had applied for changes in Varisudarara Khatha at Tasildar Office, Bhatkal. Shri. Annayya, Village Accountant, Hebale village had demanded a bribe amount of Rs.2,000/- from the brother in law of the applicant to do the same.
On 28.11.2018 the Officials of ACB PS Karwar have trapped Shri.Annayya while receiving a bribe amount of Rs.2,000/- from the complainant. The bribe amount has been seized. The accused has been arrested. The case is under investigation.
