A resident of Siruguppa Town Sri.Shasha Vali had sought for settlement of 3 years rental arrears of his shop alloted by Town Muncipality. Sri.Marilingappa, Chief Officer and Sri Fayaz, Bill Collector of Town Muncipality, Siruguppa had demanded A bribe amount of Rs.5,000/- to settle the dues.
On 29/11/2018, the officials of Ballari Anti Corruption Bureau Police Station trapped and arrested Sri Fayaz while accepting bribe amount of Rs.5,000/- from the complainant, The bribe amount of Rs.5,000/- along with Rs. 65,000/- of rental amount is seized. The investigation is in progress.
