A resident of Vaddarahatti Village of Koppal Taluku and District had sought for entry of his mother name in Pahani. Sh.Vikram Chavan, S.D.A., Office of the Tahsildar, Koppal had demanded a bribe amount of Rs.20,000/- to do the same.
On 21/12/2018, the officials of Koppal Anti Corruption Bureau Police Station trapped and arrested Sh.Vikram Chavan, S.D.A. while accepting a bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- from the complainant The bribe amount is recovered. The investigation is in progress.
