After sustaining injuries during a brawl at Eagleton Resort on 20th January, Indian National Congress MLA Anand Singh was brought in to Narayana Nethralaya from Apollo Hospitals for examination of his eye injuries today at 10am. After examination and advice, he has been sent back to Apollo.
Providing details on the findings, Dr. K. Bhujang Shetty, Chairman and Managing Director, Narayana Nethralaya, said, “The floor of the orbit in his right eye, i.e., the floor of the bone surrounding his right eye ball is fractured because of which he has double vision in certain angles. There has also been some external bleeding which will take 10-15 days to heal. Both his eye lids are swollen because of the injury but that has not caused any harm to his eyesight. He has been put on medical line of treatment for one week, after which we will review his condition. If his double vision and bone fractures have not improved, we will have to consider surgery.”
