Lions Clubs International District 317F in association with the Bengaluru Traffic Police will be conducting a Road Safety Awareness Walkathon and Interaction Session on the role of the Youth to improve the situation on 27 July 2019 at HMT Ground, RT Nagar Main Road, Bangalore Over 500 Students from 20 schools in and around the eq~V 1vicinity of RT Nagar are participating in this Road Safety Walkathon. The main objective behind organizing the Road Safety Awareness program Walkathon is to bring in awareness about the effects of dangerous and impaired driving and to take action to make the roads safer for drivers pedestrians, and cyclists alike Senior Traffic Police officials will address the students on the need to enforce safe driving practices and have open discussions with students for their valuable feedback and suggestions. Chief Guests Shri Byrathi Suresh Honorable MLA- Hebbal Constituency- Chairman of KSSIDC and District Governor Lion BS Ravindra, Guest of Honour Lion Deepak Suman, Lion CK ManoharanNambiar, Mrs.Prameela Anand BBMP Corporator, Lion Nagaraju BBMP Corporator, Senior Officials from Bengaluru Traffic Police, Celebrity Youth Icon Naina Puttaswamy, many senior lions and members will participate in the event.
