CMRITIANS BAG TOP 10 RANKS IN THE UNIVERSITY

Bengaluru: City Based CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) established yet another incredible milestone by securing top ranks in the 2019 – 2020 BE and Post Graduate Examinations conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Seven students from different Engineering and Post Graduate streams of CMRIT secured the top 10 ranks in the recently announced university ranks by the VTU.

While Ayesha Banu daughter of Haseena Banu – a house maker, secured first rank in Telecommunication Engineering and won Gold medal, Dhruv Vatsa Mishra son of a retired teacher secured 3rd rank in Information science and Engineering. In addition to this Thejas Manjunath secured 9th rank in Electrical & Computer Engineering and is currently working in Deloitte, while he intends to get into Civil services.

Gold medalist Ayesha Banu who is thankful to her professors who directed her on the right path said, “Hard work and presence of mind is my key to success. Now, that I have secured first rank, I plan to go ahead with my higher studies and do research in the future.”

Dhruv Vatsa Mishra who is already working in a startup company and has his plans for higher studies states that the wonderful exposure and experience he acquired while working on his project helped him secure a job in a startup company.

The rank holders also include Rashmishree Raul (BE -Information Science) -9th rank; Maimunisha NK (MCA) -3rd rank; Mamatha N (M.Tech) -3rd rank; and Chandra Shekhar N (M.Tech) -9th rank.

Congratulating the rank holders and all the students for their remarkable accomplishments, Dr Sanjay Jain -Principal CMRIT, said that the college believes in furnishing the right atmosphere for mentoring the young minds and encouraging the student’s aspirations. “I am extremely happy and proud of the achievements of our students who have put in a lot of effort into reaching this milestone. I am sure every student is well deserved of what they have achieved, and I only hope this encourages others to aim high and will give an opportunity to spread your wings,” said the Principal.
