Apollo Spectra Hospital, Bengaluru Executes Modified Radical Mastectomy Successfully on 49-Year-Old Patient

Bengaluru, 7th September 2023: Apollo Spectra Hospilal, Bengaluru, a leading ambulatory care centre, is pleased to announce the successful execution of a modified radical mastectomy on Mrs. Hemalata, a 49-year-old homemaker, who sought medical attention at the hospital with a conceming complaint of whitish nipple discharge from her right breast. The procedure was skillfully conducted by Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh, General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Apollo Spectra Hospital, Bangalore, with the primary objective of removing a ductal carcinoma in then right breast.

Mrs Hemalata’s joumey with Apollo Spectra Hospital began when she presented with an wormisome discharge from her right nipple. The consulting doctor, Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh. suspected an underlying breast abnormality. Clinical examination revealed a lump in her righta breast, exhibiting clinical features indicative of breast cancer. Subsequently, an ultrasound scan and a Trucut Biopsy were performed, confirming the diagnosis as invasive Ductal Carcinoma Further examination through a PET CT scan confirmed the presence of an active cancer in the axillary lymph nodes.

Given that the cancer was already in the second stage, the doctor conducted a modified radical mastectomy procedure to remove the cancerous growth all around breast region along with the breast wthout causing muscular disfigurement. Following the surgery, Mrs Hemalata underwent a comprehensive treatment plan, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hormonal therapy. all meticulously administered by the medical team at Apollo Spectra Hospital, Bangalore.

Deal marks Studio’s first foray into movie distribution
