Bengaluru, 04 October 2023: The two-day Shopping Centres Next (SCN), held on 03 and 04 October in Bengaluru, acknowledged and felicitated South India’s retailers, emerging players and eminent names in recognition of their achievements, innovation, customer experiences and special accomplishments at the IMAGES Most Admired South India Retailer of the Year awards.
The award categories this year included Most Admired South India Retailer of the Year for Supermarket Chain, Speciality Retailer, Legacy Retailer, Emerging Retailer in categories like fashion, food and grocery, jewellery, gourmet F&B, store expansion, etc.
The Most Admired South India Retailer of the Year: Supermarket Chain – Trading Density Growth went to Vijetha. Cool Colors won the award for Emerging Retailer – Fashion. Speciality Retailer – Gourmet F&B was awarded to Nuts n Spices and Bhima Jewels won the award for the Legacy Retailer – Jewellery.
Adyar Ananda Bhavan – A2B was recognised under the Food Service Retailer category; while MK Retail was recognised as the Legacy Retailer – Food & Grocery. Daymart won the Emerging Retailer – Food & Grocery. The Chennai Silks Group was honoured as the Legacy Retailer – Fashion & Jewellery. Junior Kuppanna won the award for Legacy Retailer – Food Service.
The award for Supermarket Chain – Store Expansion was awarded to Ratnadeep while Otto won the award for Speciality Retailer – Men’s Fashion. RS Brothers were recognised under the Fashion & Lifestyle Group category. Q-Mart Convenio was recognised for Convenience Store Launch.
