* Empowering Women Gynecologists Through Endoscopic Surgery
* Inaugurated by Padmashri Dr. C.N. Manjunath

BENGALURU, October 5, 2024: The fourth edition of Eve Endoscopy, India’s leading national conference for women endoscopic surgeons, was inaugurated today by Padmashri Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Member of Lok Sabha. Organized by the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE) in collaboration with KIAGE and hosted by RadhaKrishna Multispecialty Hospital, the event has brought together over 400 surgeons and doctors from around the world to witness live surgical demonstrations broadcast from RadhaKrishna Hospital to ITC Gardenia.
The three-day conference, chaired by Dr. Vidya V. Bhat, Organizing Chairperson of Eve Endoscopy and Medical Director of RadhaKrishna Multispecialty Hospital, aims to empower women gynecologists by equipping them with advanced endoscopic surgery skills. Demonstrations of laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, urogynecological, and other minimally invasive surgical techniques will take place throughout the event.
“This is one of the most prestigious conferences for the association, and we are privileged to host fourth edition this year in Bengaluru,” said Dr. Vidya V. Bhat. “Our goal is to inspire and train women gynecologists across the country, enhancing their professional expertise while advancing patient care. By increasing the number of women proficient in endoscopic surgery, we hope to transform women’s healthcare through minimally invasive procedures.”
Attendees will also benefit from hands-on workshops designed to enhance their skills in minimally invasive techniques, which offer faster recovery times, minimal scarring, and shorter hospital stays for patients.
Padmashri Dr. C.N. Manjunath, speaking at the event, highlighted the significance of empowering women in the medical field: “This conference is a pivotal step toward enabling women in healthcare to adopt cutting-edge endoscopic techniques and take leadership roles. These advancements will not only improve the safety and efficacy of surgeries but will also make treatments more affordable.”
Key sessions over the next two days will include live surgical workshops relayed from RadhaKrishna Multispecialty Hospital, a cosmetic gynecology workshop, skill enhancement sessions, and informative video presentations.
