ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜಯನಗರ: ಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರ ಆರಾಧನಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಜಯನಗರ 5ನೇ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ನಂಜನಗೂಡು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ 1008 ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಬುಧೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದಂಗಳವರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಶ್ರೀಮಠದ ಹಿರಿಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಆರ್.ಕೆ. ವಾದೀಂದ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿ.ಕೆ. ಆಚಾರ್ಯರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿ ವಾಯು ಉತ್ಸವ ಸೇವಾ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಭಜನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಭಕ್ತರಿಗಾಗಿ ರಥೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಅನ್ನ ಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನೂರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರು ಈ ಪಾವನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀಹರಿ, ವಾಯು, ಗುರುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಂದರ ದಾಸರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾದರು ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ನಂದಕಿಶೋರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ಭಕ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಭಾವನೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವತ್ತ ಒತ್ತಾಸೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ 3ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಲ್.ಎಲ್.ಬಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವಿ.ಎಸ್. ಅರುಣ್ ಅವರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಮಟ್ಟದ ದೇಹದಾರ್ಢ್ಯ (ಬಾಡಿಬಿಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್) ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಾಸಿಕ್ ಫಿಸಿಕ್ ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೊಂಡಜ್ಜಿ ಬಡಪ್ಪ ಆಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು, ಹಲವಾರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಅರುಣ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಿಂಚಿದರು. ಅವರ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. (ಡಾ.) ಅನಿತಾ ಎಫ್.ಎನ್. ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಡಳಿತ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.
ಅರುಣ್ ಅವರ ಈ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಇತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಲಿ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಹಾರೈಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಖತಮುಲ್ ಖುರಾನ್, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳು, ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ವಿವಾಹ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಜಾತಿ-ಮತ ಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ.
ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24, 2025ರಂದು ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾಂದವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅನ್ನಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತಾಜುಲ್ ಇಸ್ಲಾಂ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಜಮಾ-ಅತ್ನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Speaking at a press conference at the Press Club of Bengaluru, Pracha emphasized the urgent need for electoral transparency and accountability, citing widespread concerns over the credibility of EVM-based elections.
The campaign, launched on January 5, 2024, has involved peaceful protests, public meetings, legal petitions, and extensive awareness drives. Civil society groups have raised concerns that EVMs compromise free and fair elections, and that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has failed to ensure transparency.

1. Legal Battle & Government’s Response:
Following a directive from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to disclose CCTV footage and election-related documents from the Haryana Assembly elections, the Government of India unilaterally amended election rules, raising further suspicion.
The ECI has been accused of evading transparency and misleading courts and the public regarding electoral integrity.
2. Lack of Opposition Action:
Despite concerns over electoral manipulation, opposition parties have shown a lukewarm response.
After the Haryana and Maharashtra election results, civil society formally approached the Congress leadership on November 15, 2024, urging them to take a stand against EVMs and remove internal saboteurs.
3. Mass Mobilization Plan: Mission Save Constitution has outlined the following actions to intensify its campaign:
Peaceful sit-in protests outside District Magistrate offices across the country, calling for paper ballots.
Mass court arrests to highlight electoral injustice.
Public demonstrations outside the Supreme Court and High Courts to uphold judicial independence.
Legal assistance for citizens organizing mock polls using paper ballots.
The movement has already conducted public meetings and marches in Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Goa, Delhi, and Hyderabad. With today’s press conference in Bengaluru, Mission Save Constitution has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
