
Bengaluru, February 8, 2025: The United Council for Education and Culture (UCEC), in association with Mahfil-e-Nisa, is set to host ‘JASHN-E-YAUM-E-URDU’ (Urdu Day) to celebrate the rich heritage and cultural significance of the Urdu language. The grand event will take place on February 8, 2025 (Saturday), at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru, from 9:00 AM onwards.
This prestigious celebration aims to highlight the beauty, legacy, and influence of Urdu through cultural performances, interactive activities, and inspiring presentations. A major highlight of the event will be a spectacular aerobics performance and the formation of an India Map by students, symbolizing the nation’s unity in diversity.
The event will witness the active participation of around 800 schoolchildren performing on stage, while nearly 2,000 students, educators, and language enthusiasts will attend as the audience. As part of the celebrations, a children’s rally will be conducted from the indoor stadium, passing through National Games Village (NGV) and covering key landmarks such as the GST Office and Passport Office before returning to the stadium.

The rally will be inaugurated by Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Transport, Government of Karnataka.

The event is expected to be a vibrant tribute to the Urdu language, bringing together students, educators, and prominent personalities to celebrate its timeless contributions to literature, culture, and Indian heritage.
