Sri Raghavendra Swamy’s 404th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava Celebrated with Grandeur

Bengaluru: The 404th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava of Kaliyuga Kamadhenu Sri Raghavendra Swamy was celebrated with great devotion at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. As per the divine orders of Paramapoojya Sri 1008 Subudhendra Tirtha Swamiji, the grand event was organized under the leadership of senior mutt administrator Sri R.K. Vadeendra Acharya.

As part of the celebrations, Paramapoojya Sri 1008 Akshobhya Ramapriya Tirtha Swamiji, the junior Peethadhipati of Balagaru Mutt, performed the sacred Sahasra Kalasha Ksheerabhisheka (ritualistic milk anointment) to the Brindavana of Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy. Following this, the golden-plated Padukas of Guru Raghavendra were placed on a golden throne, and a grand Pushpavrishti (showering of flowers) was performed as part of the inauguration ceremony.

The event also witnessed special Utsava Homas and a Samsthana Pooja conducted by Paramapoojya Sri Swamiji, culminating in a Mahamangalarati to the sacred Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. In his divine discourse, he blessed the devotees who had gathered in large numbers to seek his Anugraha (blessings).

Thousands of devotees participated in the Pattabhisheka Mahotsava, receiving Teertha Prasada and Mantrakshata as blessings from the Guru. Eminent personalities, including Raja Sri Bandiya Acharya, R.K. Vadeendra Acharya, Sri Krishna Gundacharya, and several other dignitaries and devotees, took part in the grand celebrations.

The festival was a spiritually enriching experience for devotees, reaffirming their faith in Sri Hari, Vayu, and Guru’s divine grace.
