
Prayagraj, March 4, 2025: In a historic achievement, 73 students from the School of Fine Arts & Design at Noida International University (NIU) have set a new record in the India Book of Records by painting 108 forms of Lord Shiva in just 108 minutes. This remarkable feat took place during the Shiva Fest at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, a grand event that attracts millions of devotees and artists from across the country.
The achievement was officially recognized by the India Book of Records in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Lalit Kala Academy, marking a proud moment for NIU and the participants.

Speaking about the achievement, Dr. Nihar Das, Dean of the School of Fine Arts & Design, NIU, expressed his pride in the students, stating, “We congratulate all the students who showcased their talent and secured a place in the India Book of Records. We encourage our students to participate in national and international events to further develop and showcase their artistic skills.”
The event not only highlighted the students’ artistic excellence but also their deep cultural and spiritual connection. NIU continues to take pride in fostering young talent and providing students with platforms to contribute to nationally recognized artistic milestones.
