Negligence Strikes Again: Massive Dried Tree Branch Falls on Cars in Koramangala, Owner Narrowly Escapes

Bengaluru, April 3: Yet another case of official negligence has come to light as a massive dried tree branch came crashing down on two cars on 20th Main Road, Koramangala, around 3:30 PM today. The owner of one of the vehicles had a narrow escape, raising fresh concerns about the lack of proactive action by the BBMP and the Forest Department.

Speaking to City Today News, Editor Gs Gopal Raaj condemned the incident, calling it a serious failure of civic authorities. “This is not just an accident; it is sheer negligence by BBMP and the Forest Department. Despite repeated complaints from residents about weak and dried trees, no action has been taken. Today, two cars were damaged—tomorrow, it could be human lives at stake,” he warned.

Local residents expressed outrage over the authorities’ inaction, stating that such incidents have become alarmingly frequent in Bengaluru. They have urged the BBMP to conduct immediate inspections and prune or remove hazardous trees before another disaster strikes.
