Bengaluru, April 23 — The prolonged water crisis at the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) head office has finally been resolved, thanks to the timely and efficient efforts of Dr. Vaishnavi, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister. I, GS Gopal Raaj, sincerely thank Dr. Vaishnavi and the Chief Minister’s office for their swift intervention and commitment to addressing the issue.
As a result of the intervention, two dedicated water banks have now been made functional, ensuring a continuous and reliable water supply to the premises. The BBMP head office, which had been grappling with the issue for over five months, can now resume normal operations without basic service disruptions.
Reflecting on the impact of the original news coverage, Gopalraaj said, “It’s heartening to see how timely reporting can lead to real administrative action. Journalism is not just about highlighting problems, but also about being part of the solution. I’m grateful that our story reached the right people and brought meaningful change.”
Dr.Vaishnavi confirmed that necessary measures had been taken now and that the situation is fully under control. The newly operational water banks will now act as a stable support system for the BBMP premises, minimizing the risk of future disruptions.
With this positive development, both BBMP staff and citizens visiting the office will benefit from improved infrastructure and basic facilities.

City Today will continue to cover civic issues and spotlight actions that lead to real improvements on the ground.
