Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Rajajinagar, will be organizing a ‘Cataract Blue Day’ on Friday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a free eye screening camp for the general public. The initiative is aimed at raising awareness about cataract-related vision issues and providing essential diagnostic services at no cost.

As part of the camp, pre-surgical investigations valued at Rs. 500 will be provided free of charge. The following tests will be conducted:
Hemoglobin (HB)
Hepatitis B (HbsAg)
A-Scan (Ultrasound Biometry)
Blood Pressure Check
Blood Sugar Test
Kidney Function Tests (Urea, Creatinine)
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
B-Scan
Complete Urine Analysis
Additionally, medications will also be provided free of cost to participants.
A team of senior ophthalmologists and specialists will be available to evaluate patients during the camp. The expert panel includes:

Dr. Devika – Cornea and Phaco-Refractive Surgeon
Dr. Akilesh Kumar – Phaco, Glaucoma, and Medical Retina Specialist

Dr. Puttasamy – General Ophthalmologist
Pensioners and family pensioners intending to participate are requested to carry valid ID cards, Aadhaar cards, pension books, and any applicable insurance scheme cards.
