Bengaluru, May 18, 2025: SPARSH Group of Hospitals marked a significant milestone in its expansion journey with the inauguration of its new 300-bed quaternary care hospital at Hennur Road. The state-of-the-art facility underscores the Group’s commitment to delivering ethical, accessible, and patient-centric healthcare of the highest quality.
The hospital was inaugurated by Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, in the presence of several eminent dignitaries. Among those present were Jagadguru Shri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswami of Suttur Math, Shri SS Mallikarjun, Minister of Mines & Geology and Horticulture; Shri Sharan Prakash Patil, Minister of Medical Education; Shri Basavaraj Bommai, Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister of Karnataka; Justice Shivaraj V. Patil, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India; Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa, MLA, Davangere South; and Shri B.A. Basavaraja, MLA, KR Pura.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sharan Shivaraj Patil, Chairman of SPARSH Group of Hospitals, said, “With the launch of our Hennur facility, we are taking another step forward in our mission to provide precise, compassionate, and affordable care. The Hennur hospital is designed to provide comprehensive multi-specialty services, including orthopedics, neurosciences, cardiac sciences, oncology, organ transplants, and a dedicated Women & Children’s Center. The facility integrates cutting-edge innovations such as data-driven care, real-time clinical analytics, personalized medicine, and a strong emphasis on academic medicine and clinical research.
In addition to elevating the standard of medical care, the facility is expected to generate over 2,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities, significantly contributing to the local economy.
The launch of the Hennur facility forms a strategic part of SPARSH’s growth plan, which aims to scale operations to over 1,700 beds across nine hospitals by the end of 2025. Significant investments have been made into the development of this hospital, reflecting the Group’s long-term vision for healthcare excellence.
