Adarsh Group Champions “Vocal for Local” Through Inspiring Commitment Ceremony

Bengaluru, June 17, 2025 — Reinforcing the spirit of Vocal for Local and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the renowned Jain educational institution Adarsh Group of Institutions hosted an impactful and emotive event titled “Operation Sindoor – Commitment Ceremony” at its assembly hall on Tuesday.

The event was graced by the presence of Shri Sunil Singhi, Chairman of the National Traders Welfare Board, Government of India, who served as the chief guest. In his inspiring keynote address, he urged students to become active contributors to India’s economic revival. “Through Operation Sindoor, Adarsh Institutions are inspiring youth to honor local enterprise, uphold national values, and embrace a global outlook. Supporting local industries is the true path to India’s economic resurgence,” he emphasized.

Joining him was Shri Prakash Pirgal, Board Member of the same national body, who spoke about the vital role of educational institutions in nation-building. “This is not just a pledge — it marks the beginning of national consciousness. Our students must evolve into ethical citizens and agents of grassroots transformation,” he stated.
Shri Padam Raj Mehta, President of Adarsh Group of Institutions, and Shri Jitendra Mardia, Secretary of the Group, expressed pride in the enthusiasm of the students. “Operation Sindoor is our solemn tribute to Bharat Mata — a symbol of purity and patriotic commitment,” they remarked.

The ceremony began with a traditional welcome, followed by the collective recitation of the “Oath of India” by students and staff, pledging allegiance to the nation, promotion of local products, and adherence to ethical practices. The word ‘Sindoor’ was used as a symbolic metaphor — denoting sanctity, cultural pride, and unwavering national dedication.
Cultural performances, patriotic songs, and student-led reflections on the Vocal for Local mission lent depth and emotion to the proceedings. The Principal, in his opening address, stressed that education must go hand-in-hand with civic responsibility and national awareness.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks to all dignitaries, faculty, students, and organizers. The ceremony left a lasting impression on the audience, igniting within them a renewed spirit of nationalism and moral responsibility.
Through initiatives like Operation Sindoor, the Adarsh Group of Institutions continues to nurture a generation of students who believe in thinking local, acting national, and dreaming global.
