A grand and spiritually uplifting Chaturmas Pravesh ceremony of Acharya Shri Arihantsagarsurishwarji Maharaj was held at the Shri Vasupujya Munishvrat Jain Shwetambar Murti Pujak Sangh in Madhavanagar, Bengaluru.
On this sacred occasion, Bhavaribai Ghatawchandji Surana was felicitated with the prestigious “Jinashasan Gaurav – Anupama Mata” award by the Sangh for her outstanding contributions to the Jain community and religious service. A plaque unveiling ceremony for the newly constructed “Surana Aradhana Bhavan,” built by the Surana family, was also conducted.

Addressing the gathering, Acharya Shri stated, “Chaturmas is a holy season dedicated to spiritual practice. Listening to the Jinavani (teachings of the Tirthankaras), engaging in introspection, and pursuing self-discipline brings meaning, peace, and spiritual strength to life. The ultimate solutions to the world’s problems lie in knowledge, and the source of this knowledge is Jinavani.”
Sangh President Shri Mohanlalji Marlecha expressed joy over hosting Acharya Shri during Chaturmas and urged all devotees to actively participate in the religious programs and enrich themselves spiritually.

Sangh Secretary Shri Prakashji Pirgal announced the commencement of a 40-day collective penance (Tapasya) at the Sangh, aimed at upholding the sanctity of Shikharji. Shri Prakashji Rathod elaborated on the benefits of listening to the Jinavani, saying it cultivates spiritual wisdom and helps one truly understand Dharma.
Daily discourses, scripture reading sessions, and evening Pravachans have begun as part of the Chaturmas activities. These programs are open to all age groups and are designed to suit various time schedules for participants.
Prior to Acharya Shri’s entry, the women devotees of the Sangh extended a ceremonial welcome with auspicious offerings.

The Surana family also announced plans to organize a “Summer Vacation Updhan Tap” in 2026 at Sushildham under the guidance of Acharya Shri.
Vice President Shri Sampatraj Kothari, Gautam Surana, Treasurer Shri Ramesh Marlecha, Ashok Parekh, and many others extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
Shri Ritesh Bhandari introduced the revered Acharyas to the gathering. Shri Kantilal Marlecha efficiently managed the food arrangements, while Shri Praveen Chauhan delivered the vote of thanks.
Volunteers including Jayesh Kothari, Nitin Sakariya, Amit Mehta, and Hemant Porwal worked tirelessly for event coordination and logistics.
All the trustees of the Trust participated enthusiastically and with great devotion, marking the event as a memorable religious celebration.
