‘Thirtha’ by The Rameshwaram Café Brings Authentic North Indian Flavours to Cunningham Road

The Rameshwaram Café Launches ‘Thirtha’ – A Modern Tribute to Hindustani Flavours in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, July 29, 2025: The Rameshwaram Café, one of India’s most celebrated South Indian vegetarian restaurant chains, has launched its latest venture — Thirtha, a first-of-its-kind vegetarian QSR concept that brings North Indian flavours to the heart of Bengaluru. Located on Cunningham Road, Thirtha aims to reimagine traditional Hindustani cuisine through a modern, fast-casual format.

Occupying 2,000 sq. ft., the outlet blends cultural richness with contemporary design. Featuring live tandoor counters, minimalist interiors, and a vibrant ambiance, Thirtha offers a dining experience that appeals to all age groups—from nostalgic elders to curious millennials and Gen Z foodies.

The menu showcases an array of pan-Hindustani delicacies including Rice Bowls, Bun Maska Chai, Vada Pav, Pahadi Maggi, Tari Poha, and Berliners. A special focus has been placed on health-forward choices such as Quinoa Upma, Millet Rice, and Millet Khichdi. Complementing the food is a refreshing beverage line-up that includes Vietnamese Cold Coffee, Poha Milk, cold-pressed juices, and espresso-based drinks.

Speaking at the launch, Raghavendra Rao, Co-Founder and CEO of The Rameshwaram Café, said, “Indian cuisine reflects our cultural depth and regional variety. Having established our roots in South Indian food, Thirtha represents our vision to bring the richness of North Indian flavours into a contemporary QSR experience.”

Divya Raghavendra Rao, Co-Founder and Managing Director, added, “Thirtha is a heartfelt extension of our journey. It balances heritage with a fresh, modern outlook. Whether it’s a quick meal or a comforting bite, we’ve designed Thirtha to deliver both warmth and speed.”

Supported by a 150-member team, Thirtha combines efficient service with the brand’s trademark hospitality. The café is already eyeing expansion, with plans to take its Hindustani concept across multiple cities in the near future.
