UNIQLO Opens First Store in Bengaluru with Rahul Dravid at Launch Event
Japanese fashion retailer enters South India with 9,000+ sq. ft. store at Orion Mall
Bengaluru, August 29, 2025: Global apparel brand UNIQLO officially opened its first store in Bengaluru today, marking its much-anticipated debut in South India. The launch at Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway was graced by cricket icon and city native Rahul Dravid, who joined UNIQLO India executives for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, drawing large crowds of fans and shoppers.
The new store, spanning 9,012 sq. ft., brings UNIQLO’s internationally renowned LifeWear concept to Bengaluru—offering functional, high-quality, and timeless apparel designed for everyday living. This store is UNIQLO’s 17th in India and its first in the southern region.
