Apple Hebbal Inaugurated as First South India Store in Bengaluru
Bengaluru, September 2, 2025 – Apple marked a major milestone in India with the grand opening of Apple Hebbal, its first retail store in South India and third nationwide, following Mumbai’s Apple BKC and Delhi’s Apple Saket. The launch drew strong public response, with customers and tech enthusiasts gathering to experience Apple’s latest lineup and services firsthand.
The newly opened store in Bengaluru has been designed as a community hub, bringing together innovation, creativity, and personalized customer support. Speaking on the occasion, Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and People, said, “Apple Hebbal celebrates Bengaluru’s spirit of innovation. We are thrilled to connect with the community here and inspire people to create and collaborate with Apple.”
Launch Day Highlights
Visitors explored Apple’s newest products, including the iPhone 16 series, MacBook Pro powered by M4 chips, iPad Air with Apple Pencil Pro, and Apple Watch Series 10. The store also showcased accessories such as AirPods 4 and AirTag. Customers were seen engaging at the Genius Bar for expert support, booking personalized shopping sessions, and collecting online orders at the dedicated Apple Pickup area.
The 70-member team, representing 15 Indian states, guided customers on financing plans, the Apple Trade In program, and one-on-one setup services. True to Apple’s commitment to sustainability, the store is powered entirely by renewable energy and operates on a carbon-neutral model.
Community Engagement
Opening day also featured Today at Apple sessions, where participants learned new skills including iPhone photography, Apple Intelligence, and creative illustration on iPad. Entrepreneurs and business owners interacted with Apple’s Business Pros for tailored advice and growth strategies.
To celebrate the occasion, Apple released exclusive Apple Hebbal wallpapers and a curated Apple Music Hebbal playlist featuring local Bengaluru artists.
