Volvo Car India Brings All-Electric EX30 SUV to Karnataka

Bengaluru, September 2025: Volvo Car India has introduced its newest battery electric vehicle (BEV), the Volvo EX30, a premium all-electric SUV that has already won global recognition. The EX30, named World Urban Car of the Year 2024 and recipient of the Red Dot Award: Best of the Best Product Design 2024, is now open for pre-reservations with special benefits for early customers.

In Karnataka, the model will be available for test drives and bookings at Martial Volvo Cars, with official pricing to be announced at its national launch later this month. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2025. The vehicle is being assembled at Volvo’s plant in Hoskote, near Bengaluru.

Designed for Sustainability and Safety
The EX30 is Volvo’s most sustainable car yet, featuring interiors made from recycled denim, PET bottles, aluminium, and PVC pipes. It also carries a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, bolstered by Volvo’s Safe Space Technology that integrates 5 cameras, 5 radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Key safety highlights include an intersection auto brake, a door-opening alert to prevent accidents, and multiple advanced driver assistance features.

Premium Features and Technology
The SUV offers five ambient lighting and sound themes inspired by Nordic landscapes, a Harman Kardon sound system with 1040W output and nine speakers, and a 12.3-inch centre display with Google built-in, 5G connectivity, and over-the-air updates. Digital convenience includes NFC card access and Digital Key Plus via the Volvo Car App.
