As part of the ongoing Sharannavaratri Mahotsava, the mangal (concluding) program of the “Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Pravachana Jnana Yajna” was held with great devotion at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swami Matt, Jayanagar 5th Block. The program was organized under the blessings of Paramapoojya Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji and led by the senior administrator of the Matt, Sri R.K. Vadindracharya.
Renowned scholar Vidwan Aitareya Bharadwajacharya delivered the discourse on the occasion. Marking the conclusion of the Jnana Yajna, Sri R.K. Vadindracharya honored the Acharya by presenting Sri Gururaja’s shesha vastra, fruits, mantrakshate, and offerings, according to priest Sri Nandakishoracharya.
The event drew hundreds of devotees who participated with devotion and received the blessings of Sri Hari, Vayu, and Guru.
In a special announcement, the Math informed that on October 2 (Thursday), Vijaya Dashami, the celebrations will include a Phala Panchamruta Abhisheka and a Ratna Kavacha Alankara to the Brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swami. In the evening, rituals such as the Shami Vriksha (Banni Tree) Puja and a grand Gajavahana Utsava will be held, along with other festivities.
