A grand Ganga Puja was performed at the Nanjanagudu Shri Raghavendra Swami Matt, Jayanagar 5th Block, by His Holiness Shri 1008 Shri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji, the revered pontiff of Mantralaya, on the auspicious occasion of Jalapoornima Trayodashi.
Arriving from the sacred Shri Ranganatha temple in Srirangam, Tamil Nadu, during his spiritual tour, the seer was warmly welcomed at the math by the administrator, R.K. Vadhindracharya, who offered a floral reception.
Marking the festive spirit of Diwali, His Holiness lit the ceremonial lamps and offered special prayers to Shri Guru Raghavendra Swami for universal welfare. The seer also performed the Ganga Puja before Shri Mannmula Ramachandra Devaru, blessing the devotees with Phala Mantrakshate and a message of divine grace.
As part of the Naraka Chaturdashi celebrations, the pontiff is scheduled to perform the sacred Tailabhyanjana Seva at the original Brindavana of Shri Raghavendra Swami in Mantralaya.
The occasion was graced by the seer’s pre-monastic mother, Smt. Manjula Bai, and senior math administrator R.K. Vadhindracharya. Sharing details, Shri Nandakishore Acharya stated that numerous devotees and matt staff took part in the Jalapoornima festivities and received blessings from the seer.
