Innovation with Purpose: ATF Celebrates India’s Assistive Tech Pioneers at Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025

Bengaluru, November 21, 2025:
The AssisTech Foundation (ATF), India’s leading force in advancing Assistive Technology (AT) for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), announced the winners of the 5th ATF Awards at the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) – AT Track 2025. The summit, now in its 28th year, is organised by the Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with key industry partners, and continues to serve as a global platform for technological innovation and business leadership.
The ATF Awards have emerged as the country’s most prominent and exclusive recognition platform dedicated to Assistive Technology. The programme honours startups, established enterprises, NGOs, academic institutions, investors and government bodies that are using technology to drive meaningful progress in disability inclusion. This year’s awards were presented by senior industry leaders and members of the ATF Board during the dedicated AT Track sessions.
This edition further cemented ATF’s role in placing Assistive Technology at the forefront of India’s innovation agenda. Building on its strong legacy and ongoing contributions at BTS, ATF continues to expand the visibility and importance of inclusive technology across the national ecosystem.
The awards celebrated breakthrough solutions designed to enhance accessibility, independence and overall quality of life for PwDs. A total of 10 awards were conferred across three major segments — Emerging Startups, Established Startups, and Enablers — acknowledging innovators whose work is reshaping the future of inclusion through technology.

Speaking on the occasion, Prateek Madhav, CEO and Co-Founder of AssisTech Foundation, said:
“Innovation lies at the core of ATF’s mission. We firmly believe that the right technology can transform the lives of Persons with Disabilities by creating pathways to access, independence and dignity. The ATF Awards recognise those who are pushing these boundaries and setting new benchmarks for inclusive innovation in India.”
