Bengaluru: In a shocking incident that has raised serious concerns over law and order, Heera Group of Companies has alleged a prolonged and organized criminal intrusion at its Heera Mart premises in the Press Town area of Bengaluru.

Addressing the media, Mr. H. B. Nayak, Chief Operational Officer of Heera Group of Companies, stated that on the evening around 7:00 PM, a group of about five unidentified individuals forcefully entered the shopping mall. As the night progressed, their numbers allegedly swelled to 20–30 persons, who continued to occupy the premises illegally until 1:30 AM and thereafter remained inside the building for nearly five to six days without any lawful authority.
According to Mr. Nayak, the intruders terrorized staff, subjected employees to physical and mental harassment, and allegedly looted jewellery and other high-value articles from the premises. He further claimed that valuable goods were removed, for which video and photographic evidence has been preserved. The accused also allegedly cut electricity and internet connections, crippling operations, and occupied the first, second and third floors of the building round-the-clock.

In a disturbing development, sopme among the group reportedly posed as officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) without producing any identification or authorization, amounting to criminal impersonation of public servants. Heera Group has categorically clarified that the incident has no connection whatsoever with any lawful ED or government action.
Mr. Nayak confirmed that an FIR has been registered, and the offences involved include criminal trespass, robbery, intimidation, impersonation, and organized criminal activity.
Expressing gratitude for the support received during the crisis, the COO thanked the MEP Group, Heera Group members, and members of the public who stood by the company under the banner of “Justice for Humanity.” He also acknowledged the visit of members of the Jogale community, including respected elders, Dargah representatives and Jogale Ulema, who came forward to express solidarity with the organization.

Special appreciation was extended to Mr. M. K. Bashabhai and Ms. M. S. Farida, Vice President of MEP, for their encouragement and unwavering support.
Making a strong appeal, Mr. Nayak urged the Karnataka Police and the State Government to take immediate and stringent action against all those involved. “Such lawless acts cannot be tolerated in a civilized society. Swift justice is essential to restore confidence and prevent the recurrence of such incidents,” he said.
Concluding the statement, Mr. Nayak reaffirmed that Heera Group stands firmly for law, transparency, justice and humanity, and will pursue all legal remedies to ensure accountability and protection in the future.
