Thousands of Devotees Attend Guru Raghavendra Darshan; Special Annadanam and Grand Bharatanatyam Performance Held

Bengaluru: Hundreds of devotees gathered in large numbers at the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, located in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru, to seek the divine darshan of Guru Raghavendra on Thursday. The religious observances were conducted under the blessings and directions of Parama Poojya Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangal, with the overall arrangements led by Sri R.K. Vadindracharya, Senior Administrator of the Mutt.

As part of the Thursday special rituals, elaborate morning poojas and sevas were performed with devotion. Thousands of devotees who visited the Guru Raghavendra Sannidhi were served annadanam, reflecting the Mutt’s commitment to seva and spiritual hospitality. The evening witnessed a series of vibrant religious and cultural programmes, including Rathotsava, Gajavahanotsava, Pallakki Utsava, Tottillu Seva, and other traditional rituals, drawing enthusiastic participation from devotees.

A major highlight of the cultural segment was a Bharatanatyam dance presentation by nearly 75 students, organised by Nritya Disha Trust. The performance was led by renowned danseuse and Trust Director Dr. Darshini Manjunath, with support from her senior disciples Uma, Sneha, and Sahana. The recital beautifully depicted devotional themes and classical aesthetics, earning appreciation from the audience.

Adding to the significance of the event, Shreyas Kashyap, who portrays Guru Raghavendra in the popular television serial Sri Raghavendra Mahathme, visited the Mutt, offered prayers, and received phala, mantra, and akshata as blessings.

The spiritually charged celebrations reaffirmed the enduring faith of devotees and the cultural vibrancy upheld by the Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt.
