Bengaluru to Run with Purpose: Namma Power Run Blends Fitness, Heritage and Philanthropy

Bengaluru will once again lace up for fitness and remembrance as Sutra Fitness & Nutrition gears up to host the fourth edition of the Namma Power Run on March 15, 2026, along NICE Road. The annual event is dedicated to the memory of Kannada icon Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, fondly remembered as Appu, and coincides with his birth anniversary, celebrating his enduring message of health, discipline, and social responsibility.

Having earlier spotlighted Bengaluru and the grandeur of Mysore Palace, this year’s run draws inspiration from the historic splendour of Hampi, symbolising Karnataka’s timeless pride and resilience. Organised in association with the Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar Charitable Trust, the event continues its mission of making running accessible to first-timers and casual fitness seekers, many of whom have transitioned into regular runners over past editions.

Edition 4 also expands its social outreach, allowing participants to contribute directly to the trust during registration. Further strengthening its awareness drive, Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital joins as the official eye care partner, promoting glaucoma awareness under the #DonateEyesGiftSight initiative.

With race categories spanning 5K, 10K and the 21.1K half marathon, the Namma Power Run promises a vibrant blend of fitness, culture and community spirit for Bengaluru.
