A free artificial limb and caliper fitment camp aimed at supporting persons with disabilities will be organised in Bengaluru on March 1 by Narayan Seva Sansthan, in collaboration with CSR partners General Motors, TTP Technologies and ACI Worldwide.
The one-day rehabilitation initiative will be held at Mahaveer Dharamshala No. 17, National High School Road, V.V. Puram, Basavanagudi, from 8 am to 6 pm, with formal inauguration scheduled for 11 am. Organisers said only pre-selected beneficiaries will participate in the camp, where around 640 persons with disabilities are expected to receive assistive devices.
According to representatives of the Udaipur-based organisation, nearly 550 beneficiaries will be fitted with advanced artificial “Narayan Limbs”, while about 50 individuals will receive calipers.
The recipients had earlier been screened during a measurement camp conducted on December 14.
Addressing the media, Vinod Jain, Bengaluru president and spokesperson of the organisation, along with Khubi Lal Menaria, head of the Bengaluru ashram, highlighted that the initiative aims to expand access to rehabilitation services across South India.

Director Palak Agarwal said the programme focuses on enabling self-reliance among beneficiaries by facilitating mobility, education and employment opportunities.
A team of doctors and technicians will conduct fittings and provide post-fitment training on walking, balance and device maintenance. The event will also include a donor felicitation ceremony recognising CSR partners, social workers and contributors.
Founded in 1985 by Kailash Manav, the organisation has provided thousands of free artificial limbs and medical interventions, continuing its efforts to support inclusive rehabilitation and dignified living for persons with disabilities.
