OPPO Reno15 Series Redefines Travel Photography with AI, Design and Power

January 2026: OPPO India has unveiled its premium Reno15 Series, positioning it squarely at young travellers, creators and photography enthusiasts. The new lineup includes the Reno15 Pro, Reno15 Pro Mini and Reno15, alongside the expanded ecosystem with OPPO Pad 5 and OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro+.

At the heart of the Reno15 Pro and Pro Mini is a powerful 200MP ultra-clear main camera, paired with a 50MP 3.5× telephoto portrait lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Supported by OPPO’s PureTone Imaging Technology and advanced AI tools, the series promises natural colours, rich detail and flexibility to crop or reframe images without loss of clarity. A 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera further enhances group selfies and travel vlogs.

Making its debut is OPPO’s industry-first HoloFusion Technology, delivering a layered, three-dimensional glass finish with fluid light reflections. The new Dynamic Stellar Ring camera design adds a premium halo effect, while colour options draw inspiration from sunsets, glaciers, auroras and natural textures.

The Reno15 Pro Mini marks OPPO’s first “Pro Mini” device, combining flagship performance with a compact 6.32-inch AMOLED display. Despite its smaller footprint, it offers high-end cameras, a slim profile and a lightweight build. The Pro model features a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, while all variants support up to 120Hz refresh rates and high outdoor brightness.

Built for real-world use, the Reno15 Series comes with an All-Round Armour Body, aerospace-grade aluminium frame and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Under the hood, the Pro models run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, while the Reno15 uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, delivering smooth gaming, AI performance and efficient power usage.

Fueling long days is a massive battery lineup, led by a 6500mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC™ fast charging and wireless charging on the Pro. Running on ColorOS 16 with deep Google Gemini integration, the Reno15 Series blends intelligent AI with seamless everyday usability—making it OPPO’s most travel-ready Reno yet.

Army Havildar’s Stem Cell Donation Sparks Hope Amid Donor Crisis

Beyond the Uniform: An Indian Army Havildar’s Quiet Act of Heroism

Six years after signing up as a blood stem cell donor, Havildar Sukhwinder Singh answers a life-saving call—proving service doesn’t end with the battlefield.

January 23, 2026 | India
This Republic Day season, as the country salutes courage in uniform, one Indian Army soldier has shown that heroism can also unfold far from the frontlines.

Havildar Sukhwinder Singh, a serving soldier, recently donated his blood stem cells to save the life of a patient suffering from a severe blood disorder—fulfilling a promise he made six years ago.
DKMS Foundation, India, is spotlighting his journey as a powerful reminder that a single decision, taken quietly and patiently, can one day give someone else a second chance at life.

A promise kept, six years later
Singh registered as a potential blood stem cell donor in 2019, during an appeal drive for a young leukemia patient. He was not a match at the time—but he stayed on the registry, understanding that the call could come anytime.

It finally did, in December 2025.
Identified as a perfect match for another patient in urgent need of a transplant, Singh did not hesitate. He stepped forward immediately, completing the donation process and giving a stranger the hope of survival.

A larger crisis behind one brave story
While Singh’s act inspires, it also exposes a harsh reality in India’s healthcare system:
*A new blood cancer case is diagnosed every five minutes
*Over 10,000 children are born with Thalassemia Major each year
*Yet, only 0.09% of India’s eligible population is registered as blood stem cell donors.

Because tissue (HLA) types are ethnically specific, Indian patients often struggle to find compatible donors. What is medically treatable becomes life-threatening simply due to a lack of matches.

“A hero in uniform—and beyond”

“Registering as a blood stem cell donor is not a one-day decision; it’s a long-term commitment,” said Patrick Paul, Executive Chairman, DKMS India.“Sukhwinder Singh’s journey is extraordinary. His patience and readiness to donate the moment he was called show how one choice made years ago can secure someone else’s future. He is a hero both in uniform and in the registry.”

Who can register as a donor?
Age: 18–55 years
In good general health
BMI under 40
Not already registered with another stem cell registry
Registration is simple: fill out a consent form and swab the inside of your cheeks to collect tissue cells.

As Havildar Sukhwinder Singh’s story proves, you may never know whose life you’ll save—or when. But when the call comes, being registered can make all the difference.

They Lost a Mother, Found a Rhythm, and Gained the World

January 22, 2026 | Bengaluru
From growing up in an SOS Children’s Village to becoming celebrated ambassadors of Indian culture, twin sisters Archana and Chetana’s journey is a moving story of resilience, passion, and purpose.

Now 39, the Bengaluru-based twins are accomplished Bharatanatyam dancers and founders of Nrithyarpanam School of Dance. Their life took a difficult turn at the age of three when they lost their mother. Unable to cope alone, their father sought support from SOS Children’s Villages India, where the sisters found a new home and a nurturing family environment under the care of an SOS Mother.

Recognising their artistic inclination early, SOS Children’s Villages enrolled them in Bharatanatyam classes alongside formal education. With consistent emotional and institutional support, both sisters completed engineering degrees and briefly pursued corporate careers. However, their lifelong connection with dance inspired them to take a bold leap of faith and follow their true calling.

Today, Archana and Chetana are nationally and internationally recognised artistes, Cultural Ambassadors of India, ICCR-empanelled performers, Doordarshan graded artistes, and recipients of several prestigious awards in India and abroad.

“Dance helped us heal and gave our lives direction,” says Archana. Chetana adds that their SOS Mother’s encouragement played a pivotal role in shaping their future.

Their story powerfully reflects how care, opportunity, and belief can transform adversity into achievement.
