IMC 2025 Gains Momentum with Bengaluru Roadshow; Launches Flagship Initiatives for Startups and Developers

Bengaluru, July 1, 2025: India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 — Asia’s premier digital technology platform — continued to build excitement with a high-energy roadshow held in Bengaluru today. Organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), the roadshow underlined Bengaluru’s critical role as a launchpad for innovation, thanks to its vibrant startup ecosystem and leadership in deep-tech domains.

As part of its broader vision, IMC 2025 is placing a strong focus on startups and innovation through its flagship ASPIRE program, designed to connect over 500 emerging companies with top investors, incubators, and international partners through mentorship, live pitching, and networking opportunities.

The Bengaluru roadshow was held alongside the Matrix Global Summit 2025 hosted by TiE Bangalore, a major gathering of industry leaders and innovators focused on deep-tech areas such as generative AI, advanced manufacturing, blockchain, and sustainable industrial technologies.

Government Signals Strong Support for Innovation

Speaking at the event, Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Minister of State for Communications & Rural Development, emphasized India’s digital transformation journey:
“With over 1.2 billion mobile subscribers and 1 billion broadband users, we’ve connected 2.2 lakh villages through BharatNet. We’re investing $18 billion more to bring high-speed internet to an additional 40,000 gram panchayats and 15 million rural households. From importing 75% of our mobile devices, India is now exporting devices worth ₹1.8 trillion annually. This is not just ‘Made for India’, it’s ‘Made by India’.”



He also highlighted the impact of the Telecom Technology Development Fund (TTDF), which has already supported 120 high-tech startups with nearly ₹500 crore in funding.
“India is now seen as a global digital leader — whether in Japan, Thailand, or ASEAN — and platforms like IMC play a key role in showcasing our capabilities,” he added.



Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary of DoT and Chairman of the Digital Communications Commission, noted:
“India Mobile Congress is more than an event; it represents the strategic role of telecom in economic growth, digital inclusion, and national security. From lagging in 4G to keeping pace in 5G, India now aims to lead in 6G. Through initiatives like TTDF, we are reducing risks for startups in a highly regulated global industry.”



Shri Abhijit Kishore, Chairman of COAI, remarked:
“Our theme for IMC 2025, ‘Innovate to Transform’, reflects our belief that technology must create real impact across sectors and borders. IMC will continue to be the platform that shapes India’s digital future.”



Key Announcements: Startup World Cup & Open API Hackathon

IMC 2025 also unveiled two major initiatives aimed at energizing the startup and developer ecosystems:

Startup World Cup 2025 – India Regional: Organized under the ASPIRE program in collaboration with Pegasus Tech Ventures, this prestigious pitch competition will give Indian startups a chance to win a $1 million grand prize at the global finals in San Francisco. The platform will connect founders with top investors, mentors, and global partners.

Open API Hackathon: In partnership with the GSMA Open Gateway initiative, this hackathon invites developers to build real-world applications using live telecom network APIs. The goal is to demonstrate how open APIs can unlock next-gen digital services across fintech, mobility, logistics, and more — features traditionally exclusive to telecom operators.


IMC 2025: What to Expect

Scheduled to take place from October 8–11, 2025, at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi, IMC 2025 is expected to draw over 150,000 visitors from 150+ countries, host 400+ exhibitors, and feature 7,000+ global delegates. The event will include 800+ speakers across 100 conference sessions, and showcase 1,000+ cutting-edge use cases spanning 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, electronics manufacturing, and green tech.

The ASPIRE program alone will connect startups to over 300 investors, incubators, VCs, and accelerators, reinforcing IMC’s commitment to catalyzing India’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape.

TAFE ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸನ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಂತೆ, “ಮ್ಯಾಸ್ಸಿ ಫರ್ಗುಸನ್” ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಟ್ರೇಡ್‌ಮಾರ್ಕ್‌ಗಳ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು, ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದ್ಭಾವನೆಗಳು ಭಾರತ, ನೇಪಾಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಭೂತಾನ್‌ನೊಳಗೆ ಇದೀಗ TAFE ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಏಕೈಕ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.

ಈ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, AGCO ನಲ್ಲಿನ 20.7% ಷೇರುಗಳನ್ನು TAFE ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಸುಮಾರು $260 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ (ಅಂದಾಜು ₹2,170 ಕೋಟಿ) ಮೊತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿ ಖರೀದಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಇದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಅಮಾಲ್ಗಮೇಷನ್ಸ್‌ ಗ್ರೂಪ್‌‍ನ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವದ ಅಂಗಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಅದೆಯೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, AGCO ನಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಪಾಲುದಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು 16.3% ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ TAFE, ಕೆಲವು ವಿನಾಯಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ, AGCO ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಶಿಫಾರಸುಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಷೇರುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ AGCO ಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯ ನಿಲುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಲಿದೆ.

TAFE ಮತ್ತು AGCO ನಡುವೆ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಬಾಕಿ ಇರುವ ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಆರ್ಡರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಂದದ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಅನುಸಾರ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಭಾಗ ಪೂರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು TAFE ಬದ್ಧವಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸನ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ನಗರದ ಕೋರಮಂಗಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎನ್.ಜಿ.ವಿ. ಕಾಂಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್‌ನಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಕಂಪನಿ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ (BESCOM) ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಜಾಥಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಾದ ಮಂಜೇಗೌಡರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

‘ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಇರಲಿ, ಸುರಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ಬಾಳೋಣ’ ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ (BESCOM) ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಪಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲು ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವದ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯಕ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಈ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ (BESCOM) ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ – ತಪ್ಪಾಗಬಾರದು:

ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಫಲಕ ಅಥವಾ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದು ತಪ್ಪು.

ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಣಗಿಸಲು ತಂತಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೊಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಬಾರದು.

ಒದ್ದೆಯಾದ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸ್ವಿಚ್‌ಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸಬಾರದು.

ತಂತಿಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಮರದ ರಂಬೆ-ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುವುದು ಅಪಾಯಕರ.

ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತುವುದು ಜೀವಹಾನಿಕಾರಕ.

ತಂತಿಬೇಲಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಹರಿಸುವಂತ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.

ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ತಂತಿಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮರ್‌ಗಳ ಬೇಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು.

ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ತಂತಿಗಳ ಸಮೀಪ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದು ಅಪಾಯಕರ.

ತಂತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಮರಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಲು ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಬೇಡ.


ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು:

ಸದಾ ಐಎಸ್‌ಐ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಿತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

ಲೈಸೆನ್ಸ್ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಷಿಯನ್ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ದುರಸ್ತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು.

ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು.

ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಗೌಂಡಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ವೈಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಸೂಕ್ತ.

ಪ್ಲಗ್ ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್‌ಗಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕೈಗೆ ತಾಕದಂತಿರಬೇಕು.

ಸದಾ 3 ಪಿನ್ ಪ್ಲಗ್ ಅಥವಾ ಸಾಕೆಟ್ ಬಳಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.


ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಅಭಿಯಾನಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬಿಇಎಸ್ಕಾಂ ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನರ ಜೀವದ ಸುರಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯೆಂದು ಸಾರಿದೆ.

Touching upon artificial intelligence, Dr. Vaidya cautioned against fear-driven resistance. “AI can assist in formulating strategies, but execution remains a human domain. Embrace new technologies and keep learning—India offers countless opportunities for those who stay ahead,” he said.

On building effective teams, he noted, “There’s no one-size-fits-all formula. Great teams evolve over time and thrive on shared values and cultural alignment.”
