A special pledge campaign titled “Operation Sindhoor” has been launched to promote the use of Indian products, local arts and craftsmanship, indigenous industries, cleanliness, and the preservation of Indian culture. Held under the slogan “Vocal for Local,” the event witnessed citizens and youth taking a collective pledge comprising 20 commitments aimed at building a self-reliant and culturally enriched India.
These pledges reinforce support for major national initiatives such as ‘Make in India,’ ‘One District, One Product,’ ‘Wed in India,’ ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,’ ‘Ayushman Bharat,’ and ‘Digital India.’ They also reaffirm dedication to honoring the nation’s brave soldiers, supporting farmers, artisans, and empowering women.
Dignitaries present at the event included Mr. Sunil Singhi, Chairman of the National Traders Welfare Board (Government of India), Mr. Uday Garudachar, MLA of Chikpet Constituency, and Commodore R.L. Brahmaprakash, Navy Officer and prominent leader.
The program was presided over by Mr. Prakash Pirgal, Member of the National Traders Welfare Board.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಬಳಕೆ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಕಲೆ-ಕುಶಲತೆ, ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಉದ್ಯಮ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಚತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಶಪಥ ಅಭಿಯಾನ – “ಆಪರೇಶನ್ ಸಿಂಧೂರ” ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ. “ವೋಕಲ್ ಫಾರ್ ಲೋಕಲ್” ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 20 ಶಪಥಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡು, ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮನಿರ್ಭರ (ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿ) ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಸಮೃದ್ಧ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನಾಗಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಯುವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
ಈ ಶಪಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಮೇಕ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ’, ‘ಒನ್ ಡಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ಟ್, ಒನ್ ಪ್ರೊಡಕ್ಟ್’, ‘ವೆಡ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ’, ‘ಬೇಟಿ ಬಚಾವೋ ಬೇಟಿ ಪದಾವೋ’, ‘ಆಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ಭಾರತ’, ‘ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ’ ಮುಂತಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಭಿಯಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲ ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ವೀರ ಯೋಧರ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು, ರೈತರು, ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣದವರೆಗಿನ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಶಪಥಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಆಪರೇಶನ್ ಸಿಂಧೂರ – ವೋಕಲ್ ಫಾರ್ ಲೋಕಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ಹಿ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಡಳಿ (GOI), ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ ಗರುಡಾಚಾರ್, ಶಾಸಕರು – ಚಿಕ್ಕಪೇಟೆ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ, ಮತ್ತು ಕಮೋಡೋರ್ ಆರ್ಎಲ್ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಪ್ರಕಾಶ್, ನೌಕಾಪಡೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖಂಡರುಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

BENGALURU, JUNE 18: Santhosha H. M., a student of the Universal School of Administration in Bengaluru, has secured All India Rank 89 in the UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2024, the results of which were announced on June 13.
Hailing from an economically modest background, Santhosha was sponsored by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) under its welfare scheme for underprivileged students. His success has become a powerful example of how institutional support and dedicated mentorship can transform lives.
Santhosha is enrolled in the Integrated IAS, IPS & KAS Three-Year Degree Program at the Universal School of Administration. He had earlier topped Bangalore University’s B.A. stream in 2022, demonstrating consistent academic excellence.
This milestone also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Universal Coaching Centre, part of the Universal Group of Institutions, which has helped over 8,036 aspirants secure positions in various government services over the years.

इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों द्वारा देशभक्ति गीत, सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियाँ और ‘वोकल फॉर लोकल’ विषय पर विचारों की अभिव्यक्ति ने कार्यक्रम को अत्यधिक भावनात्मक और प्रेरक बना दिया। संस्था के प्राचार्य ने अपने उद्घाटन भाषण में कहा कि “शिक्षा केवल किताबी ज्ञान नहीं, बल्कि सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी और राष्ट्रीय चेतना के विकास का माध्यम भी है।”
