ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಅಹಿಂದ (ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿತ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಯುನಸ್ ಜೋನ್ಸ್ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹಲವಾರು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ಪಾಸ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳು, ರೆವೆರೆಂಡುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಅಧೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಅರ್ಚ್ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಬೇಧಿಸುವ ಜಟಿಲತೆಗಳು, ಅಭಾವಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಪರಿಪೋಷಣೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಸಕ್ತ ಪೂರಕ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೋರಾಟದ ತಂತ್ರ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

2011ರ ಜನರಲ್ ಸೆನ್ಸಸ್ ಮತ್ತು 2015ರ ಜಾತಿಗಣತಿ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿರುವ ಕಡಿತದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಆತಂಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅರ್ಚ್ ಬಿಷಪ್, ಮುಂದಿನ ಜನಗಣತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು, ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಡಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಖಚಿತ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿಖರ ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳು ದಾಖಲೆಯಾಗಲು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

“ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಸುಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ, ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಾರ್ಯವೈಖರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ತಾರತಮ್ಯಕ್ಕೀಡಾಗದಂತೆ ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ,” ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಯುನಸ್ ಜೋನ್ಸ್ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

Applications Invited for Vidyadhan Scholarship 2025 for Karnataka SSLC Students

Bengaluru, May 24:
The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) has opened applications for the Vidyadhan Scholarship Program 2025 for meritorious students from Karnataka who have passed the SSLC examination in 2025.

The initiative, aimed at supporting academically bright students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, offers financial assistance along with mentorship, soft skills training, and career guidance to foster holistic development. Since the launch of the program in Karnataka in 2014, over 1,500 students have been awarded scholarships to pursue higher education.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students must have passed the SSLC exam in 2025 from Karnataka.

A minimum score of 90% or A+ grade in all subjects is required (75% for students with disabilities).

The annual family income should be less than Rs. 2 lakhs.


Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 per year for PUC studies. Continued support ranging between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 75,000 annually is available for degree courses, based on academic performance.

Free Health Check-up Camp Held at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math, Jayanagar

Bengaluru, May 23: A free medical health check-up camp was successfully organized at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math located in 5th Block, Jayanagar, under the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji. The initiative was led by the senior administrator of the Math, Sri R.K. Vadindra Acharya.

The health camp was conducted by the team from QXL Diagnostic Center, led by Shri Abhijith, and was intended for the benefit of the Math’s staff and their family members. Shri Nandakishore Acharya from the Math shared details about the camp.

As part of the camp, a Master Health Screening was conducted, which included the following tests:

1. FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar): To detect the presence or control of diabetes.


2. Total Cholesterol: To assess overall cholesterol levels and risk of heart disease.


3. SGOT (AST): To evaluate liver function or detect muscle/heart damage.


4. Creatinine: To assess kidney function and identify any damage.


5. Vitamin B12: To detect deficiencies that may affect nerve function, energy levels, and red blood cell production.


6. CBC (Complete Blood Count): To analyze various components of blood and provide a general overview of health.



In appreciation of Shri Abhijith’s contribution, Sri R.K. Vadindra Acharya extended his gratitude and felicitated him for his dedicated service towards the well-being of the Math’s community.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: “ಜೈವಿಕ ಇಂಧನದ ಹೊಸ ನೀತಿ”ಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಈ ಧೋರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ತಯಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಜೈವಿಕ ಇಂಧನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಸ್.ಇ. ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಿಗಮದ 42ನೇ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅವರು, ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಇಂಧನ ನೀತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಹಸಿರು ಪರಿಸರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಜೈವಿಕ ಇಂಧನ ಉಪಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ನೀತಿಗೆ ರೂಪರೇಖೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನವೀನ ಧೋರಣೆಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಜೈವಿಕ ಇಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2024–25ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಲೆಕ್ಕಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮಂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶಗಳು:

ಬಯೋಡೀಸೆಲ್ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ತೈಲಬೀಜಗಳಾದ ಹೊಂಗೆ, ಬೇವು, ಸೀಮರೂಬ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಗೆ ಉಪ ಸಮಿತಿ ರಚನೆಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ.
