• ಖಾಸಗಿ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಕಾರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಎನ್.ಬಿ.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ.ಗಳ 100ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಮೊಹಾಲಿ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ೦೩, ೨೦೨೫: ಭಾರತದ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಲಯದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ರಿಜಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿ ಆಫ್ ಸೆಕ್ಯುರಿಟೈಸೇಷನ್ ಅಸೆಟ್ ರೀಕನ್ಸ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಷನ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಸೆಕ್ಯುರಿಟಿ ಇಂಟ್ರೆಸ್ಟ್ (CERSAI) ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ. ರೆಕಾರ್ಡ್ ರಿಜಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿ (CKYCRR) ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದವು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವು ನೋ ಯುವರ್ ಕ್ಲೈಂಟ್ (ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ.), ಆಂಟಿ ಮನಿ ಲಾಂಡರಿಂಗ್(ಎ.ಎಂ.ಎಲ್) ಮತ್ತು ಸಿ.ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ.ಆರ್.ಆರ್.ನಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ. ಡೇಟಾದ ಬಳಕೆ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಒಳನೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿ.ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ.ಆರ್. ದತ್ತಾಂಶ ಬಳಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ವಂಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ನಕಲೀಕರಣದ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಕಾರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತದ ಎನ್.ಬಿ.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ.ಗಳು ಒಳಗೊಂಡು ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಿಜರ್ವ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ (ಆರ್.ಬಿ.ಐ.), ಫೈನಾನ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಇಂಟೆಲಿಜೆನ್ಸ್ ಯೂನಿಟ್, ಸೆರ್ಸೈ(CERSAI) ಮತ್ತು ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಎಕ್ಸಿಕ್ಯೂಟಿವ್ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಭವೇಶ್ ಝವೇರಿ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸೆರ್ಸೈ ಡೇಟಾ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ. ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ 7,000 ವರದಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಹುತೇಕ 100 ಕೋಟಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಅವರು ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ನೋ ಯುವರ್ ಕಸ್ಟಮರ್ (ಸಿ.ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ.) ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರ್.ಬಿ.ಐ.ಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಸೆರ್ಸೈ(CERSAI) ಎಂ.ಡಿ. ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಇಒ ಶ್ರೀ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿ.ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ. ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರ್ಸೈಗೆ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಗುರುತಿಸುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಅದರ ಬಳಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಸ್ವತಃ ಅವರ ಮಿಸ್ಡ್ ಕಾಲ್ ಅಥವಾ ಕ್ರೆಸೈ ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮೂದಿಸಲಾದ ಹಂತಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಿ.ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ. ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರು ಮೊಹಾಲಿಯ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಹೌಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಸೆರ್ಸೈಗೆ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು ಒಳಗೊಂಡು ಇತರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಕೆ.ವೈ.ಸಿ. ಎ.ಎಂ.ಎಲ್. ಕುರಿತು ಆರ್.ಬಿ.ಐ.ನಿಂದ ಹೊಚ್ಚಹೊಸ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಕುರಿತಂತೆಯೂ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟೀಕರಣ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Bengaluru: Experts in the education sector emphasize that school amenities and infrastructure play a vital role in shaping students’ holistic learning experience. While curriculum and teaching methods remain focal points, the physical environment of schools significantly impacts student engagement, academic performance, and overall well-being.

According to Steve Hardgrave, CEO & Co-Founder of Varthana, well-equipped classrooms, sports facilities, inclusive infrastructure for specially-abled students, proper sanitation, and technology integration are essential for fostering a conducive learning atmosphere.

Studies indicate that well-lit classrooms with proper seating and modern teaching aids improve student focus and behavior, directly influencing academic performance.

The UNESCO State Education Report 2019 revealed that 27% of disabled children in India lack access to education due to inadequate infrastructure. Many schools still lack ramps, handrails, and adapted toilets, making education inaccessible to students with disabilities.

Clean drinking water, hygienic toilets, and proper handwashing facilities are fundamental for students’ health and concentration. Poor sanitation in schools leads to health hazards, impacting attendance and learning outcomes.

Infrastructure alone is not enough—investing in teacher training is crucial to ensure effective pedagogy. Regular professional development enables teachers to adopt new teaching methodologies and better cater to students’ needs.

With the rise of digital learning, access to technology such as smart classrooms and e-learning platforms is now essential for modern education. Digital tools enhance learning experiences and bridge gaps in accessibility.



Need for Immediate Action

Education experts stress the urgent need for government bodies, school management, and policymakers to prioritize investment in infrastructure. “Holistic learning is not just about what happens inside classrooms—it’s about creating an enabling environment that supports every aspect of a child’s development,” Hardgrave said.

With increasing concerns over school safety and regulatory lapses in Karnataka, stakeholders urge authorities to enforce stringent measures to ensure schools meet basic infrastructure requirements. Parents, educators, and policymakers must collaborate to create an enriching and inclusive learning space for all children.

ITC WOW Recognizes Champions of Sustainability at Samaagam Green Awards Event

Bengaluru, 11 February 2025: ITC Limited reinforced its commitment to environmental stewardship by hosting Samaagam: ITC WOW Green Awards Event at BR Ambedkar Auditorium, Bengaluru. The event recognized the exceptional contributions of students, educational institutions, dry waste collectors, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and corporates in advancing the Clean India Mission through sustainable waste management and recycling.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri PJ Anand, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, ITC Limited, along with Guests of Honour Smt Aanchal Chomal, Associate Director, School of Continuing Education, Azim Premji University, and Sri Basavaraj R Kabade, Chief General Manager & Chief Engineer, Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited, Government of Karnataka.

Interschool Recycling Championship 2024-25: A Grand Success

The highlight of the event was the Interschool Recycling Championship (ISRC), ITC WOW’s flagship program designed to instill responsible waste management habits among students. The 2024-25 edition witnessed overwhelming participation:

75,000 students actively took part, contributing 500 metric tons of dry waste for recycling.

2,482 schools from across southern India participated, engaging 9.31 lakh students in waste segregation awareness.


Speaking at the event, Mr. PJ Anand lauded the efforts of the young participants, stating, “I extend my heartfelt compliments to the winners of the ITC WOW Interschool Recycling Championship. It is heartening to see the younger generation actively participating in waste management and spreading awareness on sustainability.”

ITC WOW’s Impact on Waste Management

Since its inception in 2007, ITC’s Wellbeing Out of Waste (WOW) initiative has emerged as one of India’s largest awareness programs on solid waste management. The program actively promotes source segregation, maximizes resource recovery, and supports sustainable livelihoods for waste handlers. Key achievements include:

69 lakh households and 67 lakh students engaged across six states.

17,844 waste collectors and ragpickers benefited.

65,000 metric tons of dry recyclable waste recovered annually.

21 lakh households covered across 180 wards in Karnataka alone.

2022-23ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಯೂರೋಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮ, ಆನೇಕಲ್ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು, ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಶಾಲೆ ತೆರೆಯಲು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ದೋಷಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿವೆ.

ಬ್ಯಾಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಾಗಡಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಯನ್ ಇಂಟರ್ ನ್ಯಾಶನಲ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಎಂಬ ಹೊಸ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಈ ದಿನಾಂಕದವರೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಅನುಮತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಪೋಷಕರಿಂದ ಶುಲ್ಕ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಬಾಹಿರವಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಕೂಡಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಕೀಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಮೌನ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವೇ?

ಈ ಗಂಭೀರ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಕೀಲ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂ.ವಿ. ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ದೂರು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರೂ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಲಭಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. “ನಾನು ವಕೀಲನಾಗಿ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ದೂರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ?” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಅಪಾಯಕ್ಕೀಡಾಗುವಂತಿದೆಯೇ? ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
