ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 21: ಹೋಲಿ ಸ್ಪಿರಿಟ್ ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಅರ್ಣಾಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್ 2025 ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಎರಡ ದಿನಗಳ ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ–ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮೆರೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ವೈಭವ ತುಂಬಿದರು. ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಸರಿತಾ (ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಟಿ ಲೀಡರ್), ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಟ್ರೀಸಾ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೋ (ಕರಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್, ಹೋಲಿ ಸ್ಪಿರಿಟ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು) ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಳೆ ಮಿಸ್ ಲಿಮ್ನಾ ಜಸ್ಟೀನ್ ಅವರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಾಯಕತ್ವ, ವಿನಮ್ರತೆ, ಸಾಹಸ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರ್ಣೋಲ್ಡ್ ಜ್ಯಾನ್ಸನ್ ಅವರ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಾಲಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಲಕಿಯರ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಏಕಲ-ಸಮೂಹ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳಂತಹ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದವು.

ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಡಾ. ಗಂಡಾಸಿ ಸದಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಭಾರತ ಸಾರಥಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ದೈನಿಕದ ಸಂಪಾದಕ, ನಟ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಕಳೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋಣವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸಭಿಕರಿಂದ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಐಡಾ ಲೋಬೋ, ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಟ್ರೀಸಾ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೋ, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಳೆ ಲಿಮ್ನಾ ಜಸ್ಟೀನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನೃತ್ಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ–ಪೋಷಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಸೀಫ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ವಿಜಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.

The St. Arnold’s Cup 2025 concluded with enthusiasm and youthful energy at Holy Spirit School & PU College, where students showcased exceptional talent in both sports and cultural events. The two-day tournament, which began on Friday morning, was inaugurated by Sr. Saritha, Community Leader, Sr. Treesa Rebello, Correspondent of Holy Spirit Educational Institutions, and Principal Ms. Limna Justine.

This year’s edition honoured the memory of Arnold Janneson, whose qualities of leadership, humility, sportsmanship, and perseverance continue to inspire young athletes. The competition featured volleyball matches for boys and girls, accompanied by a variety of cultural presentations, including solo and group dance performances.

The highlight of the closing ceremony was the presence of noted editor, actor, social worker and producer, Dr. Gandasi Sadananda Swamy, Editor of Bharatha Sarathi Kannada Daily, who attended as the chief guest. Dr. Swamy commended the institution for encouraging holistic development and urged students to embrace discipline and determination in all pursuits. His address added a distinguished tone to the event, earning warm appreciation from the gathering.

Bengaluru: The Nanjanagoodu Sri Raghavendraswamy Mutt at Jayanagar 5th Block witnessed a grand celebration of Karthika Deepotsava on the auspicious Amavasya, held with the blessings of Paramapujya Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji. The event was organised under the guidance of the Math’s senior administrator, R.K. Vadheendra Acharya.

Devotees lit ceremonial lamps praying for Loka Kalyana (universal welfare), marking the beginning of the special festivities. A Bharatanatyam programme by students of Mahanata Nritya Mandira, choreographed by Smt. Indira Vijay, captivated the gathering and enriched the devotional ambience.
