ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 12, 2025: ಅಸ್ಟರ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಭಾರತದ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಖರ ಕಿರಣ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ಇಂಟ್ರಾಒಪರೇಟಿವ್ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನ್ ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್ ಥೆರಪಿ (IOeRT) ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ 140ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಈ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಭಾರತದ ಏಕೈಕ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಅಸ್ಟರ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಈ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಟ್ಯೂಮರ್ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೇ ಕಿರಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿಖರತೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ರೋಗಿಯ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ವೇಗವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ткಮಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾನಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಗ್ರೇಡ್-3 ಚರ್ಮ ಹಾನಿ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನಂತರದ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣತೆಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಅಲ್ಪವಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿವೆ.

“IOeRT ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ನಿಖರತೆ ತರುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಅಸ್ಟರ್ ಇಂಟರ್‌ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಆಂಕಾಲಜಿಯ ಗ್ಲೋಬಲ್ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಡಾ. ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು. “140ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲು, ನವೀನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಗಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯತ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.

ಅಸ್ಟರ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್‌ನ ಕಿರಣ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಪ್ಪ, “ಈ ವಿಧಾನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಬಳಿಕದ ದೇಹದ ರೂಪ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಕ ಹಂತದ ಸ್ತನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್‌ನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ. ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದೇ ಡೋಸ್ ಕಿರಣ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ, ಹಿಂದಿನಂತೆ 15–20 ಸೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ವೆಚ್ಚವು ಸುಮಾರು 50% ಕಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. 113 ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಚರ್ಮ ಹಾನಿ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸೋಂಕಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೂ ಅಲ್ಪ ಎಂದು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ 2040ರೊಳಗೆ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು 57.5% ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಅಸ್ಟರ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್‌ನ ಈ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಿಖರ, ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಹೊಸ ದಿಕ್ಕು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

BOHECO opens India’s largest Cannabis leaf-based wellness clinic in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, 11 November 2025: Bombay Hemp Company (BOHECO), India’s leading Cannabis wellness innovator, has launched its biggest Holistic Health & Wellness Clinic & Store in Bengaluru. The flagship centre, developed in partnership with Soulgoal Artisan, aims to bring Cannabis leaf-based Ayurvedic therapies into mainstream, evidence-led healthcare.

India’s Solar Leader Emmvee Rolls Out IPO on November 11

Price band set at ₹206–₹217; bidding to remain open till November 13

National, November 10, 2025: Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited will open its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Tuesday, November 11, marking an important step in the company’s expansion plans. Anchor investors will participate a day earlier, on Monday, November 10. The public subscription window will remain open until Thursday, November 13.

The company has fixed the price band between ₹206 and ₹217 per equity share, each having a face value of ₹2. Investors may bid for a minimum of 69 equity shares and in multiples of 69 thereafter.

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth ₹2,143.86 crore and an Offer for Sale amounting to ₹756.14 crore by promoter selling shareholders Manjunatha Donthi Venkatarathnaiah and Shubha Manjunatha Donthi.

Emmvee is a prominent player in India’s solar energy manufacturing sector and is ranked as the country’s second-largest integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) module and cell manufacturer, according to Crisil. As of June 30, 2025, the company has an installed capacity of 7.80 GW for solar modules and 2.94 GW for solar cells. With more than 18 years of experience, Emmvee is also among the early domestic adopters of advanced TOPCon cell technology.

The IPO will follow the Book Building route under SEBI’s ICDR Regulations. Seventy-five per cent of the offer will be reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers, while 15% will be allocated to Non-Institutional Bidders and 10% to Retail Individual Bidders. All applicants, except anchor investors, must apply through the ASBA mechanism.

The company’s shares are proposed to list on both BSE and NSE. JM Financial, IIFL Capital Services, Jefferies India, and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the Book Running Lead Managers.

Indian Pickleball Nationals 2025 to Make Historic Debut in Bengaluru

Four-day championship to be held from November 13 to 16 at The Sports School

Bengaluru, November 10, 2025: India’s fast-rising sport pickleball is set for a historic milestone as the Karnataka Pickleball Association (KPA), under the banner of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), announced the first-ever Indian Pickleball Nationals 2025, powered by Sabala. The national championship will be hosted from November 13 to 16 at The Sports School, bringing together top players from across the country.

The inaugural edition gains added significance as it is the first Nationals to be held after the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports officially recognised IPA as the National Sports Federation (NSF) for pickleball. The event has already recorded more than 1,200 entries from over 20 states, with competitions lined up across Men’s, Women’s and Mixed categories, from Under-12 to 70+.

KPA President Shree Harsha said, the tournament marks a major step for the sport. “Hosting the first Nationals in Bengaluru is a proud moment. Pickleball has grown rapidly worldwide, and the Government of India’s recognition has given the sport a fresh identity and direction. Through coaching clinics, business meets and our ‘Mission One Million’ programme—which aims to introduce pickleball in government and aided schools—we are working to expand its reach across Karnataka. We are grateful to the IPA for placing their trust in us and for supporting this event at a venue equipped with 16 courts,” he said.

Pro footballer and Bengaluru FC player Ashique Kuruniyan, speaking at a media interaction at Bangalore City University, welcomed the championship’s arrival in the city. “It’s exciting to see the Nationals coming to Bengaluru. Pickleball is enjoyable, accessible and suitable for people with varying fitness levels. The sport has a bright future and will only continue to grow,” he said.

Srinivas TR, Co-founder of The Sports School, said the institution is committed to supporting emerging sports. “A structured career path in pickleball will evolve in the coming years.
