ವಿಧಾನ ಸೌಧ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ರೈತರ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಾಲವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮನ್ನಾ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಈಡೇರಿಕೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ೧೭ ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ರೈತ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಚಲೋ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂಲೆ ಮೂಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ರೈತರು ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರೈತರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳು ರೈತರ ಸಾಲ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮನ್ನಾ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಬೆಲೆ ಖಾತ್ರಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಈಗ ಘೋಷಿಸಿರುವ ಭತ್ತ, ರಾಗಿ, ಜೋಳ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಬೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ವಿಂಟಾಲ್ಗೆ ೫೦೦ ರೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
೬೦ ವರ್ಷ ತುಂಬಿದ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಪಿಂಚಣಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು. ರೈತರ ಹಕ್ಕೊತ್ತಾಯಗಳ ಈಡೇರಿಸಬೇಕು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ರೈತರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಕರಾಳ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಹಿತೆಗಳ ರದ್ದತಿ, ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಖಾತರಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ,

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತೀ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಮತ್ತು ವರ್ಗದ ಮತದಾರರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಶೇ. 56ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ 28 ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-1ರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಇದ್ದು, ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-2ಎ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 103 ಸಣ್ಣ-ಪುಟ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಇದ್ದು, ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಜಾತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿ, ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಾಗಲಿ, ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಈ ವರ್ಗಗಳು ಬರೀ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಅವಕಾಶದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವು ಬಹುಪಾಲು ಕಾಯಕ ಸಮಾಜಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು, ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲಕಸುಬನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮೇಲ್ವರ್ಗದ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಾಡ್ಯ ವರ್ಗದ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಅವಕಾಶದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
