DKMS-BMST and Manipal Marathon Join Hands to Increase Blood Stem Cell Donation Awareness

DKMS-BMST is set to register potential stem cell donors during the 3-day event

February 9, 2024: In a bid to increase awareness about blood cancer and blood stem cell donation, DKMS BMST Foundation India, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the fight against blood cancer, joined hands with Manipal Marathon 2024. With an expected turnout of over 10,000 participants, the foundation aims to register many potential lifesavers during the event.

The Manipal Marathon is an annual running event in Manipal, Udupi District and is organised by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in collaboration with the Udupi District Amateur Athletic Association. For its upcoming 6th edition, the Manipal Marathon will carry the meaningful tagline ‘We are with you all the way’ to raise awareness against all terminal diseases, especially blood cancer.

Patrick Paul, CEO, DKMS BMST Foundation India, highlighted the pressing need to address the shortage of stem cell donors in India. He stated, “The youth’s participation in this initiative is significant in conveying the importance of stem cell donation. In India, every year, over 1 lakh people are diagnosed with blood cancer or a blood disorder. For a successful blood stem cell transplant, patients need a perfect HLA-matching donor. Unfortunately, only 0.03% of the Indian population have registered as potential donors. Patients and donors of Indian origin have unique HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) characteristics severely under-represented in the global database, making the probability of finding a suitable donor even more difficult. India, being a young country, our aim is to raise greater awareness about blood stem cell donation through students.”

Dr. H.S. Ballal, Pro-Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, said, “We are happy that DKMS BMST Foundation India is organizing a donor registration drive at the Manipal Marathon 2024. Through this drive, we strive to raise awareness about blood stem cell donation and its importance for patients suffering from blood cancer and blood disorders like thalassemia and aplastic anemia. Together, we aim to dispel myths around this simple process and hope that many youngsters would register as potential blood stem cell donors.”

Blood stem cell donor and a marketing professional hailing from Udupi, Akshay Kumar, who had donated his stem cells to save a patient, was present at the Manipal Marathon Expo, inspiring people with his story.
Kumar said, “As a blood stem cell donor, I believe in the power of collective action. My message to the youth is to register as donors by a simple process of giving your cheek swab samples. It is crucial to empower a new generation to step forward, saving lives and spreading hope. In this race against blood cancer, every step we take is a stride toward a healthier, brighter future for those in need.”
Every 5 minutes, someone in India is diagnosed with blood cancer or a blood disorder like Thalassemia or Aplastic Anemia. Many such patients are children and young people whose only chance of recovery is a stem cell transplant. For a successful stem cell transplant, the patient needs to find an HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) matched donor. Most often, the majority of the patients are unable to receive a transplant due to the unavailability of a matching blood stem cell donor. With very few individuals signing up as potential blood stem cell donors, finding a matching donor is difficult. This increases the need for more people of Indian ethnicity to register themselves.

To register as a potential stem cell donor, you must be a healthy Indian adult between 18 and 55 years of age. When you are ready to register, all you need to do is complete a consent form and swab the inside of your cheeks to collect your tissue cells. Your tissue sample is then sent to the lab to be analyzed and listed anonymously on the international search platform for matching stem cell donors. So far, DKMS-BMST India has registered over 1,00,000 stem cell donors in the country and facilitated 110 transplants since its inception in 2019, significantly impacting the fight against blood cancer. ನಮ್ಮ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಕರಾವಳಿ ಜನಪರ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ಕಳೆದ 15 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಹೋರಾಟ ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳು ಸರಕಾರದ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬೀಳದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಉಳಿದೆವೆ. ಸಂಸತ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಕರಾವಳಿ ಜನರ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಒಂದು ರೀತಿ ನಾವು ತಬ್ಬಲಿಗಳಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ಸೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಮಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ವತಃ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ವಕೀಲರು ಆಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ವಕ್ತಾರರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸುಧೀರ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮುರೊಳ್ಳಿ ಯವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಅವರ ಪಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಪರಿಚಿತರು, ಬಹು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಯುವಕರ ಪಡೆಯನ್ನೇ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಎದುರಾಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಲು ಸಮರ್ಥರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಸಂಸತ್‌ಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಸತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ವನಿ ಮೊಳಗಲಿದೆ.

ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ವಾಸಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಹೋರಾಟಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಅಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದಿರುವ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಹಕ್ಕು ಕಾಯಿದೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕೊಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಷ್ಟೇ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸದರಾದ ಶೋಭಾ ಕರಂದ್ಲಾಜೆ, ನಳಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಟೀಲ್, ಅನಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸಿಂಹ, ಬಿ.ವೈ.ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ರವರಾಗಲಿ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕೂಡ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಕರಾವಳಿ ಜನರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಜನ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರೋದು ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು, ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸದರು ಇಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕೋಮು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದರಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಕಾರವೇ ಎತ್ತದೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ನಾಟಕಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ತಂದು ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಎಸಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಬಹು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ, ಅಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಹಳದಿ ರೋಗ, ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ ರಂಗನ್ ವರದಿ, ಹುಲಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂರೂ-ನಾಲ್ಕು ಬಾರಿ ಮತ ಹಾಕಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ದುರದೃಷ್ಟ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಶರಾವತಿ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ನೋಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರು ಕೇಳುವವರಿಲ್ಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಜನರ ಬದುಕು ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಭಾಗದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀರ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮುರೊಳ್ಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಉಡುಪಿ-ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ವಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಅನಿಲ್‌ ಹೊಸಕೊಪ್ಪ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವೇ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯತ್ತ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ರಿಪಬ್ಲಿಕನ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಅಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (ಅಠವಳೆ) ಪಕ್ಷವೂ ಸಹ ದೇಶದ 31 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಈ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಘಟಕವೂ ಸಹ ಮುಂದಿನ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ದವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 17.02.2024ರ ಶನಿವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11.30ಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನದ ಗಾಯಿತ್ರಿ ವಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 31 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು ಅಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರಾಂದಾಸ್ ಅಠವಳೆ ಅವರು ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸುವರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ವೆಂಕಟಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸುವರು. ಎನ್.ಡಿ.ಎ.ಮೈತ್ರಿ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಮುಖಂಡರನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಅಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಎನ್.ಡಿ.ಎ.ಮೈತ್ರಿ ಪಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಆರ್.ಪಿ.ಐ.ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಕೋಲಾರ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವನ್ನು ಎನ್‌.ಡಿ.ಎ. ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಪೂರಕ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ17ರ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್. ಪಿ. ಐ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬಡತನದ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರು ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಸನ್, ಸೆಂಟ್ರಿಂಗ್, ಕಾರ್ಪೆಂಟರ್, ಪ್ಲಂಬಿಂಗ್, ಸಿಮೆಂಟ್ ಕಾಂಕ್ರೀಟ್ ಕೆಲಸ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಭದ್ರತೆಯ ಬದುಕು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹಾಗೂ ನವೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಹಲವಾರು ಷರತ್ತುಗಳು ವಿಧಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ವೇತನ ಚೀಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು. ಕಾರಣ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಡಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ನೋಂದಣಿ ನವೀಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಳೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ಕಾಮಿಕರು ಅತಂತ್ರ ಬದುಕು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನವೀಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಪರವಾನಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಕ್ಷೆ, ವೇತನ ಚೀಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಕೇಳಿರುವುದು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಇಂತಹ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಸತ್ಯ ಅಸತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತನಿಖೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಕಾನೂನುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗುರುತಿನ ಚೀಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. :

1) ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ರೂ.5,00,000/-ಗಳ ವಸತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು.

2) ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಬಸ್ ಪಾಸ್, ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನೀಡಲು ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

3) ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲ್ಲೋಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಟಪ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಭವನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಬೇಕು.

4) ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ 2013 ರಿಂದ ಸತತವಾಗಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಟ ವೇತನ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದರು ಕೂಡ ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ, ಈಡೇರಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಟ ವೇತನ ಒಳಪಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ 35 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ.ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

5) ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಬ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು 2019-20ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ನಿಗದಿ ಆಗಿದೆಯೋ ಅದೇ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು 2023-24ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

6) ನೋಂದಣಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಪರೇಷನ್‌ಗೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಲ್ಲಿ 5 ವರ್ಷದವರೆಗೆ ಮರು ಪಾವತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು, ಇದು ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ.

7) ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಂತಿಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಇಡೀ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಶೇಕಡ 2% ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ ಏರಿಸಿ ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

8) ಇಡೀ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಪಿ.ಎಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇ.ಎಸ್.ಐ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

9) ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯನ್ನು

ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಣವು ದುರುಪಯೋಗವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದ * ಕಾರಣ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು.

10) ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಮೇ 1ರ ದಿನದಂದು ನೋಂದಣಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ 25 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋನಸ್ ಮೂಕಾಂತರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

11) ಇದೇ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇಬರ್ ವೆಲ್‌ಫೇರ್ ಬೋರ್ಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಂತಿಕೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮೇ 1ರ ದಿವಸದಂದು 25 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋನಸ್ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

12) ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಪರವಾನಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ/ನಕ್ಷೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.

14) ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗಳು, ಮಾಲ್‌ಗಳು, ಲಾಡ್ಜ್ ಗಳು, ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ಗಳು, ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಬಂಕ್‌ಗಳು, ಗಾರ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಕ್ಯೂರಿಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ವೇತನ ಚೀಟಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತವಾಗಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತವಾಗಿ ಸಿಗುವಂತೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ. A

15) ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಕಿಟ್‌ಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಹಿಸುವ ಟೆಂಡರ್‌ನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

16) ಸಂಚಾರಿ ವಾಹನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು.

17) 2023-24ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ವೆಬ್‌ಸೈಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಬೇಕು.

18) ನವೀಕರಣವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲಿನಂತೆ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು.

19) ಮದುವೆ ದನ ಸಹಾಯ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅವಧಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು.

20) ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮುಂದುವರಿಕೆ ಪೆನ್ನನ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಬೇಕು.

21) 60 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಪಿಂಚಣಿಗಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು.

22) ನೋಂದಾಯಿತ ಬೋಗಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ಲಂ ಬೋರ್ಡ್‌ ಗೆ ನಿಡಿದ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.

23) ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 2024ರ ಬಡಜೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗಾಗಿ 1000 ಕೋಟಿ ರುಪಾಯಿಗಳ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

ಈ ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರ ರೈತಪರ ದಲಿತಪರ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ವಿವಿಧ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಹೀಡೇರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದು. ಈ ಮೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳು ಶೀಘ್ರವೇ ಈಡೇರದೇ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವುಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಛೇರಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಉಗ್ರ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಂದು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Bangalore, 7 February 2023: Arsenal and Sobha Realty have today announced a new long-term vision for their partnership which will see the Dubai-based luxury real estate developer becoming the club’s first ever training ground naming rights partner, and the training ground being renamed as Sobha Realty Training Centre.
As part of the same agreement, Sobha Realty becomes a Principal Partner of Arsenal and the official training kit sleeve partner for the club’s men’s and women’s teams.
The partnership will see Arsenal benefit from Sobha Realty’s unrivalled expertise in property and real estate to explore the development opportunities at the club’s training ground.
