After unveling The Mahabharat Series Mr. Swamy CJ said, I am thrilled that my devoted five-yeareffort in meticulously crafting 178 frame-to-frame Mahabharat series oil paintings, each measuring 24by 30 inches, reflects my artistic mastery and commitment, surpassing the timeline of the previousartist, Giampaolo Tomasetti from Italy. Despite dedicating a comparable duration to studying Indianculture and Mahabharat history, the Italian artist took approximately 12 years (5 years for study and 7years for painting the epic) to create only 25 Mahabharat paintings on large canvases. Vi and Team Vitality Forge a Strategic esports Partnership in India • With this alliance, the two organizations aim to drive, democratize access to esports ecosystem in the country
According to the State of India Gaming Report 2022, the Indian esports industry is expected to grow to $140 million by 2027. Over the last few years, esports as a category gained recognition as a mainstream sport especially after being debuted as an official medal sports at various international sports platforms. To capitalise on this growing consumer category, Vodafone Idea (Vi), one of India’s leading telecom operators and Paris based Team Vitality, internationally acclaimed esports organisation, have announced a long-term union to boost the esports ecosystem in India.
With this first of its kind collaboration, the two brands jointly aim to create opportunities and exposures to esports fans and gaming enthusiasts alike. The partnership encompasses many aspects such as brand sponsorship, content partnerships, gaming events and unique experiences at a never-seen-before scale. This will enable Vi customers to participate in esports and allow exclusive access to some of the popular Team Vitality tournaments and teams. This partnership will create opportunities for budding esports talent from across the country to have access to professional players, master classes, meet & greets with esports talent and many other opportunities.

The Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka Shri. Thaawar Chand Gehlot will witness the regional culturalevent Divya Kala Shakti: Witnessing the abilities in disabilities a unique cultural event at Ravindra Kalakshethra Cultural Centre, Bengaluru, Karnatakaon 6th January 2024 (Saturday). He will be accompanied by the Hon’ble Minister Shri.A Narayanaswamy, Minister of State for Social Justice and a Empowerment, Govt. of India and Senior Officers the Department from the State and Central Government.
This event being organized by National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (Divyangjan) (NIEPMD),Chennai in collaboration with Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyagjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, In this eventaround 500 invitees including Persons with Differently Abled, Parents of Persons with Differently Abled,Teachers, Care-Givers NGOs, etc are expected to witness the program.
This event brings together children and youth with Differently Abled from all the Seven Southernzones viz. AndhraPradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Lakshadweep and Pudhucherry About 75 children and youth with differently abled of various disabilities like Visual Impairment,Hearing Impairment, Locomotor Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual disabilities, Multiple Disabilitiesetc have practiced over a month to display their hidden talents. These artists will perform dance,music, instrumental in classical, folk and modern style. This special event also includes Yoga andAcrobatics. Large number of women participants are also taking parts in this event.
This cultural event, Divya Kala Shakti, provides a wider and unique platform to showcase thepotential of Persons with Differently Abled in the field of performing art, music, dance, acrobatics etc.
The DEPwD,Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India in this direction hasal ready organized two National events on 18th April and 23rd July 2019 respectively at President’s house as well as Parliament Library Building, New Delhi with an objective to spread a wide awareness among all the four pillars of Democracy.
