Three Criminal Justice Bills, Emphasizing a New Era of Justice in India- Amit Shah

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah presented three new criminal bills in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, all of which have been passed. These bills will now move to the Rajya Sabha for approval, and upon clearance, they will be sent to the President for final approval. The proposed legislation aims to usher in a new era of justice in India, focusing on transparency, impartiality, and a departure from the punitive approach towards a more equitable legal system. Shah asserts that this initiative marks a significant shift from the colonial legacy, symbolizing freedom from a mindset of servitude and British-imposed laws.

In this transformative period of Amrit Kaal, the new laws, collectively forming the Criminal Justice System of New India, aim to replace punitive measures with a focus on dispensing justice. Amit Shah emphasizes that the Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, and Indian Evidence Act, enacted during British rule, were designed for punishment rather than justice. Consequently, under Shah’s leadership, these codes will be renamed as the Indian Justice Code, Indian Civil Security Act, and Indian Evidence Act, respectively.

Over the past nine years, the Modi government, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and adeptly led by Amit Shah, has consistently fulfilled its manifesto promises. Repealing Article 370 and Article 35A, symbolic of the removal of symbols of subjugation, and undertaking substantial legal reforms exemplify the government’s commitment to its pledges. The government’s actions include the fulfillment of promises related to women’s rights, counter-terrorism measures, and the resolution of the Ayodhya issue, with the construction of the Ram Temple scheduled for January 22.

Minister Shah, a key figure in the BJP, envisions an accelerated pace of justice delivery, emphasizing that justice will now be dispensed based on equity rather than punishment. The people of the country bear witness to Shah’s dedication to introducing a new legal framework and fulfilling these commitments. Based on the achievements of the past nine years, it can be asserted that the Modi-Shah alliance is poised to realize this promise fully.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 29 ಕುವೆಂಪು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ
*ಕುವೆಂಪು ಧ್ಯಾನ* ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮನೆ ಮನೆಗೂ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಯುಗಾದಿ, ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ, ಗೌರಿ, ಮಾರ್ನವಮಿ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

೧. 29 ರಂದು ಮನೆ ಮಂದಿಯೆಲ್ಲ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
೨. ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು, ನೆಂಟರಿಷ್ಟರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಬೇಕು.
೩. ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದೋ ಎರಡೋ ಪುಸ್ತಕ, ಭಾರತ ಮಾತೆಯ ಫೋಟೋ, ಭೂಪಟ, ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಹಂಸ, ಶಾರದಾಮಾತೆ, ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ, ಬುದ್ಧ, ಬಸವಣ್ಣ, ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಹೀಗೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಮಹಾಪುರುಷರ ಫೋಟೊ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
೪. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೂವಿನಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ, ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಊದುಬತ್ತಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿ, ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಬೇಕು.
೫. ಕುವೆಂಪು ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು.
೬. ಅವರ ಕಥೆ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ, ಕಾವ್ಯ, ಮಹಾಕಾವ್ಯ, ನಾಟಕಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದೆರಡು ಪುಟಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿ ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
೭. ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಪದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿಸುವುದು, ಹಾಡಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
೮. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೊಡ್ಡವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಸಿಹಿ ಹಂಚಬೇಕು.
ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಣ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡದೆ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬ ಆಚರಿಸಿ, ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕು.
೯. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಫೋಟೋ, ವಿಡಿಯೋಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.

Modi govt is determined to implement UCC: Shah

During a discussion on the Agenda Aaj Tak platform, Union Home and Cooperation Minister, and senior BJP leader Amit Shah, made it clear that the Modi government is committed to implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He made it clear that the party will not step back from this initiative.

For decades after independence, the Congress government had kept the Uniform Civil Code on hold, using it as a political tool. It was incorporated into the Directive Principles of State Policy since immediate implementation was not feasible after independence. Interestingly, the BJP has consistently promised to work towards implementing the UCC in its election manifestos since the 1950s.

Shah, known for reshaping the course of Indian politics, emphasized that the Uniform Civil Code represents a significant social and legal transformation. To gather public opinions, committees will be formed in states, consulting millions of people. The legal scrutiny of the proposed law will also be considered.

Shah, engaged in the politics of Antyodaya (uplifting the last person), believes that once the major law is formulated following all processes, the entire country will accept it willingly. He highlighted that the Modi-Shah duo has made unprecedented efforts to establish democratic values within politics, working for the people and the nation rather than personal or party gains.

Acknowledging Shah’s contribution in eliminating identity politics, dynastic politics, and appeasement, it is evident that over the past nine years, efforts have been made to integrate Dalits, marginalized communities, and backward sections into the mainstream with utmost respect.

Based on this foundation, it is determined that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the adept guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP government will implement the Uniform Civil Code to the country.
