This has resulted in a significant jump for the company in pack subscriptions in both the prepaid and postpaid segments. The 10-day validity packs remain the most popular pack subscriptions among the Bengalurian outroamers and even though USA and UK are the most frequently travelled destinations from India, the most popular international holiday destinations on Airtel’s network for Bengalurians are Middle East and European countries like Germany, France, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Dr. Beena Unnikrishnan, a renowned artist and film maker, presented the trailer of her documentary “Y64” at the Cannes Film Festival on 21st May 2023. The film’s director Jain Joseph and project consultant Jithendra Misra were present on the occasion.
Dr. Beena Unnikrishnan has delved deep into her personal quest for self-discovery, driven by a desire to unleash the dormant feminine energy within her. Under the guidance of her mentor, the late Dr. M M Alex, Dr. Beena Unnikrishnan embarked on a spiritual odyssey that led her to the concept of yoginis. The Y64 documentary showcases the incredible feminine power of the yogini goddesses of the 9th century.

These goddesses were worshipped for their abilities to grant wishes, healing powers, and their mystical knowledge. What’s remarkable is that these goddesses portrayed in the documentary are all women – a testament to the strength and power women possess.

The documentary, Y64 explores the world of feminine and masculine energy depicted in the concept of ARDHANAREESWARA , a half male and half female concept in Hindu Philosophy. The film advocates the coexistence of these dual energies within the individual and its union for unleashing energy to accomplish the missions in this world.

The brand also showcased its Centennial Collection of its famous men’s wear apparels specially designed and crafted to commemorate the brand’s 100 glorious years comprising of 10 styles and designs in the same four segments.

The new women’s range, designed in-house, stands out of the clutter for its material, which otherwise is not widely available in the market in women’s suits. Crafted using Wool, Polywool Lycra and Ethnic Fabrics like Silk and Brocades, P N RAO’s suits range for women, amply peppered with richness, class and finesse – the hallmarks of P N RAO, is a ‘must’ for the discerning women of today.

Commenting on its foray into Women Wear segment, Naveen Pishe, Partner, P N RAO, said, “we have been receiving requests from many women for crafting suits for me given our long standing history of designing the finest men’s suits. There is a dearth of qualitative women’s suits offerings in the markets, more from a fabrics perspective, which brought us to the moot question – ‘if WE can’t make women’s suits with all the expertise we have built over the years, then who can’? We set down to pattern making and in one year, we have a reached point of addressing the segment taking into account their likes, dislikes, design preferences, body structures to be able to do justice to the suits”.
“The market for women’s business wear is still maturing and as we see it will mature in about
5-7 years by which time, we hope to create a top-of-mind recall for our brand’s women’s wear segment”, added Naveen Pishe.
