COMEDK- Uni-GAUGE Entrance Exam for UGET 2023 : Application Dates Announced

Expects over 1,00,000 students to appear for the examination across 400 centers

Bengaluru, February 16, 2023: COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE entrance examinations will be held on
SUNDAY 28 May 2023, as a combined examination for admissions to over 150 Engineering colleges and 50+ reputed private and deemed universities, respectively. The entrance exam will be conducted for colleges affiliated with the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) and Uni-GAUGE member universities offering B.E/B.Tech programmes. The exam will be conducted online in over 150 cities across India, with over 400 test centers. This year, it expects over 1,00,000 students to appear for the examination.

Applicants can register at www.comedk.org or www.unigauge.com. The application process is open online from February 15, 2023 to April 24, 2023.

For the past 50 years, Karnataka has been a leader in higher education. It is the top choice for those seeking a career in engineering due to its diverse range of colleges, exceptional education, and high job placement rate after graduation. The state’s focus on higher education has resulted in the development of a large pool of skilled professionals who are in high demand globally.

This year ComedK has also launched COMED KARES, an initiative that will assist students from participating institutions in becoming job-ready through skill enhancement courses. COMED KARES has set up eight Innovation Hubs in Karnataka 4 of which are in Bengaluru and the rest are located at Mysuru, Kalaburagi, Mangalore, Belgaum. Each hub is housed in a 5000 sq-ft state-of-the-art center. The hubs are equipped with high end equipment (Wood routing, Laser cutting, 3D printers, AR-VR equipment, Hand tools, Computer SW, UI –UX tools etc). Programs like Rapid Prototyping, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Internet of Things (IOT) are offered at the Innovation Hubs. With this initiative, Karnataka has also become the first state to introduce skill-based training to private engineering colleges.

ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಡೋದು ತಪ್ಪು ಎಂದಾದರೆ ನಾವು ಸಾಯೋವರೆಗೂ ಆ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡ್ತೇನೆ.ನಾನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಳ್ತೀನಿ. ಆಲಂ ಪಾಷಾ ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನ್ ಆಗಿ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡೋದು ತಪ್ಪು

ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ಶೆಡ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾಫಿ ಸಾಹೇಬರು ನಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಅನುಮತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾನು ದುಡ್ಡಿನ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅದರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋರು, ನಾನು ಯಾಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೀಬೇಕು?

ನಿಮ್ಮದು ನೀವು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ, ನನಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಇಲ್ಲ,ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ

ಬೀದರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾದಯ ಮತದಾರರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೂ ಕೂಡ ಕಳೆದ 2018 ರ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೀದರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಒಟ್ಟು ಆರು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಿ ಐದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರೀ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಳೆದ ಸಲ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬೀದರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕತೀಯ ಮರಾಠ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಬೀದರ್ ರವರ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಸೇರಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಈ ಸಲ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ 1ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದಲೂ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಈ ಬಾರಿ 2 ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಿಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಮುದಾಯವಾದ ಮರಾಠರಿಗೆ 2 ಸೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೀದರ್‌ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಪುನಃ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಇದೆ. ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮತದಾರರ ಸಮುದಾಯವಾದ ಮರಾಠರು ಈಗ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕಡೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರನ್ನು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಡೆ ವಾಲದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯಲು ನಮ್ಮವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಸಮುದಾಯದವರು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಂಶಯ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮತದಾರರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಾರಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಲವು ಇದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಕರು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಹಲವರು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ಕಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ದಿನಕರ ಮೋರೆ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಬಲ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಾಲ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಡಾ. ದಿನಕರ ಮೋರೆ ರವರಿಗೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಲು ಚರ್ಚೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳಪಂಗಡಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರ ಎದುರು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 2018 ರ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್‌ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಕರು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್‌ಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯಬೇಕು, ಈ ಬಾರಿಯಾದರೂ ಮರಾಠ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಡುವಂತೆ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳು, ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಕರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

ನಾವು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೀ ಒಂದೇ ಕುಟುಂಬ (ಖಂಡ್ರೆ) ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೇ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಆಮ್ ಜನತಾಕೂ ದಿಶಾ ಭೂಲ್ ಕರನಾ ಅಂದರೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತೆ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹೇರುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಗುಂಡ್‌ಗರ್ದಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ತಮಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಚೇಲಾಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರು ಇವರ ಈ ನಡೆ ನೋಡಿ ಬೇಸತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಹುಕುಂಶಾಹಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತೊಗೆದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಡಾ| ದಿನಕರ ಮಾರೆ ಸಾಹೇಬರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ತರೋಣ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹೈಕಮಂಡ್ ಅಂದರೆ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಈ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾನು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ. ಸುಮಾರು 1990 ರಿಂದಲೂ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತನಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಪಕ್ಷದ ವಿವಿಧ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ ಅನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡಿ ಜನರ ನಾಡಿಮಿಡಿತವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಂಧುಗಳೇ, ಈ ಭಾಲ್ಕಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತಂದು ಈ ಕುಟುಂಬ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡೋಣ ಅಂತ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹಿರಿಯ ಮುತ್ಸದ್ದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತರು, ಸರಳ ಸ್ವಭಾವದವರು, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸರಳವಾಗಿ ಬೆರೆತು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಂಧಿಸುವಂತವನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಂತಹ ಸಜ್ಜನರನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಗೆ ಆರಿಸಿ ಕಳಿಸೋಣ ಅಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ಮನವಿ ಎಂದು ದಿಗಂಬರ ರಾವ್ ಮಾನ್ಕರಿ, ಬೀದರ್‌ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕತೀಯ ಮರಾಠ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

New Delhi/ 15th Feb 2023: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has organized its Sixth batch of the online course ‘Essence of Hinduism’. The four-week, self-paced online certification course will cover the foundations of Sanatana Dharma. The students can access all course materials, including video, reading materials, and recording of live sessions.

The course, delivered by the university’s Amrita School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies (ASSCS), will spread across 15 hours over 4 weeks.

Lectures by prominent scholars will offer students deep insights into the texts, traditions, philosophical schools, and worldviews of Hinduism.
