ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕುರುಬರ ಸಂಘದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಟಿ.ಬಿ. ಬಳಗಾವಿಯವರು ದಿನಾಂಕ : 02-09-2022ರಂದು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯರವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿ . ಸೋಮಣ್ಣರವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಾಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕುರುಬರ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ . ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕುರುಬರ ಸಂಘವು ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಾಯತ್ತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು , ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ . ಆದರೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಬಳಗಾವಿರವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕುರುಬರ ಸಂಘದ ಅನುಮತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯದೇ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ವಿ . ಸೋಮಣ್ಣರವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಸಂಘದ ಬೈಲಾ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಘದ ಬೈಲಾ ನಿಯಮದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ವಜಾಗೊಳಸಲು ಕಾರಣ ಕೇಳಿ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ . ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಟಿ.ಚಿ. ಬಳಗಾವಿರವರು ಬಿ.ಜೆ.ಪಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಕ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದಾದರೆ ಸಂಘದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜಿನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿ ಯಾವುದಾದರು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಂಡು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಬಹುದು . ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಟಿ.ಬಿ ಬಳಗಾವಿರವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದ ಸಮಾಜದ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯರವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ವಾಪಸ್ಸು ಪಡೆದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಯಾಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕುರುಬರ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ . ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘದ ಬೈಲಾನಿಯಮದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಬಳಗಾವಿರವರನ್ನು ಸಂಘದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಡಿ . ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ & ದೇವರಾಜ ಸುಬ್ಬರಾಯಪ್ಪ ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು

ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ ಜಾರಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಲು ಆಗ್ರಹ: ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ ( ಎನ್.ಇ.ಪಿ. ) ಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ . ಸದರಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯ ಶಿಫಾರಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಹಲವಾರು ಗೊಂದಲಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದು , ಅದರ ಸಾಧಕ – ಬಾದಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಎನ್.ಇ.ಪಿ. ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪೂರ್ವಸಿದ್ಧತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ , ಆರೋಗ್ಯ , ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ವಿಸ್ತ್ರತ ಸಭೆಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಪರಾಮರ್ಶೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎ.ಐ.ಟಿ.ಯು.ಸಿ. ಸಂಯೋಜಿತ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕಿಯರ ಫೆಡರೇಷನ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ . ಬರುವ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ – ನವೆಂಬರ್ ಮಾಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ 20 ಸಾವಿರ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಬಿ.ಸಿ. ನಾಗೇಶ್‌ರವರ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಅದರಂತೆ 20 ಸಾವಿರ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರು ಶಾಲಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರನ್ನಾಗಿಸುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಲುವು ಒಂದು ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಕ್ರಮ ಎನಿಸಿದರೂ ಸಹ ಯಾವ ಮೂಲ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ರೂಪುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿದಂತಿದೆ . 6 ವರ್ಷ ವಯೋಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ , ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರ ಪೂರಕ ಪೌಷ್ಠಿಕಾಂಶ ಆಹಾರ , ಆರೋಗ್ಯ , ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ , ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಲಾಲನೆ – ಪಾಲನೆ , ಕಲಿಕೆಯಂತಹ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಶಿಶು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ( ಐ.ಸಿ.ಡಿ.ಎಸ್ . ) ಯನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಇಡೀ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೇ ದುರ್ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿಗಳು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೂಲ ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿದೆ .

The book launch was held in commemoration of the 103 birth anniversary of the Maharaja under the aegis of the Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Foundation ( M / WF ) . Radhakrishnan , Former Chairman , Space Commission , Secretary Department of Space & Chairman , ISRO in the presence of Shri HN Suresh , Director , Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan , Bengaluru ( Guest of Honour ) and the daughters of the Maharaja Maharajakumari Smt . Kamakshi Devi Wadiyar , Founder Trustee , MJWF and Maharajakumari Smt . Indrakshi Devi Wadiyar , Founder Trustee , MJWF amongst other dignitaries . The book launch was followed by an exclusive concert by ” The Mysore Police Carnatic Band ” playing select Kritis of the Maharaja . The late Maharaja was a lover of Carnatic Music and had composed nearly a 100 – outstanding Carnatic kritis even before he turned 30 , The Maharaja’s personal life was nothing short of an operatic plot . Born after World War I in 1919 in Mysore , which was ravaged by multiple famines , and thrust onto the throne in 1940 , on the anvil of World War II , his tenure was indeed in very testing times . In the truest sense of the Indian concept of the Avadhuta , he navigated the many transformations of power from Monarch to Rajapramukh to Governor of Mysore with a song in his heart and the piety of a saint . The book uses his creative expressions : music , text , prose and writings to narrate in rich technicolour , the paradoxical portrait of a man who embodied the wisdom of East and sensibilities of the West with great equanimity .  Sells 37,568 cars in the first 8 months of 2022, company’s highest ever in its India journey

›   4,222 cars sold in August 2022

›   Year-on-year growth of 10% over August 2021

›   Record feat of 37,568 achieved from January 2022 to August 2022 with more than a quarter yet to go

›   Previous high was 34,678 cars sold in 2012

›   Company has already overtaken 2021 annual sales in H1 2022

Mumbai, 1 September, 2022 – ŠKODA AUTO India, after witnessing record-breaking months in sales, a record-breaking quarter and a record-breaking H1 in 2022, has broken yet another sales record. That of selling the largest number of cars ever in its 20+ year legacy in India.

The company sold 4,222 cars in August 2022, a 10% rise over the 3,829 cars it sold in August 2021. These cars see ŠKODA AUTO India touch 37,568 total sales for 2022 with more than a quarter yet to go. This makes 2022 the Biggest Year ever for ŠKODA AUTO in India. The previous best by the company was 34,678 units sold in 2012.

The foundation for this achievement was laid in 2018 with the announcement of INDIA 2.0. At the time, INDIA 2.0 was a path-breaking project that involved all-new Made-for-India products based on Made-for-India platforms and a complete overhaul of ŠKODA AUTO India’s business process including more customer touchpoints and severe reductions in ownership and maintenance costs.

 

The bulwark of INDIA 2.0 was on the Made-for-India MQB-A0-IN platform with 95% localisation and an ownership cost going as low as Rs 0.46 per kilometre. The KUSHAQ SUV debuting in July 2021 and the SLAVIA sedans introduced in March 2022 are world-first cars developed for India in unison with teams in India and the Czech Republic. The incredible success of these INDIA 2.0 cars is what has driven most of the sales for ŠKODA AUTO India, ably supported by the OCTAVIA and SUPERB sedans and the KODIAQ SUV.

 

INDIA 2.0 continues on the customer satisfaction front with ŠKODA AUTO India constantly expanding its number of customer touchpoints across the country. From 175 touchpoints in December 2021, the company counts over 205 touchpoints as of date. ŠKODA AUTO India, in an endeavour to be closer to its customers has set a target of 250 touchpoints by the end of 2022.

Sony BBC Earth returns with its successful photography contest ‘Earth In Focus’

A picture tells a story worth a thousand words! This World Photography Day, Sony BBC Earth brings in a reason to cheer for all the shutterbugs. The factual entertainment channel brings back its photography-based digital IP ‘Earth In Focus’ only to make it bigger and better. The photography contest will award the thriving photography enthusiasts with passion and precision to capture moments in time.

There are so many things that make people feel alive and seeking the thrill of life is one of them. Taking this as the theme for the current year, ‘Earth In Focus’ will invite entries asking people to share what gives them the ‘Thrill of Life’! The theme is further divided into subcategories of Landscape, Adventure, and Wildlife. The one-month-long contest will be judged by award-winning wildlife photographer, Rathika Ramasamy.

The winners will receive a swanky Go Pro HERO10 Black along with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their entries featured on the Sony BBC Earth channel & social media handles. They will also receive access to an exclusive masterclass with Ramasamy.  

The last edition of the contest centered around ‘Freedom in Focus’ and it received 2500 splendid entries on Nature, People, and Hobbies. With 1,35,000 votes and 8 lakh page views, the contest received a phenomenal response from photography enthusiasts.
